Secondary Legislation Soft Power and the UK’s Scrutiny Committee Influence Committee Remit Remit To scrutinise instruments (usually Statutory Instruments) To examine the use of soft power in furthering laid before and subject to proceedings in the House and the United Kingdom’s global influence and to draw the special attention of the House to those interests.
