This is with reference Bahawalpur Cantonment Board, Bahawalpur's Tender Notice published in daily "Express" on 2nd March, 20 I 9. It is observed that the advertisement is in violation of the PPRA Rules 2004. As per advertisement, Bahawalpur Cantonment Board has restricted the bidders to supply 'Suzuki' Mini Tipper only and has not added "or equivalent" with it, which is not allowed under PPRA Rules 2004, Rule No. I 0. Stated as under; 10. Specifications: -Specifications shall allow the widest possible competition and shall not favor any single contractor or supplier nor put others at a disadvantage. Specifications shall be generic and shall not include references to brand names, model numbers, catalogue numbers or similar classifications. However if the procuring agency is convinced that the use of or a reference to a brand name or a catalogue number is essential to complete an otherwise incomplete specification, such use or reference shall be qualified with the words" or equivalent". The above information is forwarded for the purpose of avoiding mis-procurement charge under Rule No 50, and with request to re-invite the tender under the prescribed procedures or issue a corrigendum and extend date accordingly.     CASE REPORT Klippel-Feil Syndrome with Situs Inversus - A Rare Association Jawad Jalil,1 Mobeen Shafique2 and Nasser Rashid Dar3 ABSTRACT Klippel-Feil Syndrome (KFS) is a congenital anomaly characterized by a defect in the formation or segmentation of the cervical vertebrae. The clinical triad consists of short neck, low posterior hairline and limited neck movement. Multiple congenital anomalies have been associated with this disease. This is a case of KFS in a young girl along with situs inversus, which is an extremely rare association. Various systemic associations occurring in this multi-system disorder are also discussed. Key words: Klippel-Feil syndrome. Situs inversus. Sprengel’s deformity.
