Excalibur Table - Manual EXCALIBUR RAMP Hit the captive ball to flip the diverter on the Excalibur Ramp, or hit the drop target next to the ramp to activate the Lancers for a limited time. Lancers are strategically important defense line, as they will prevent the ball from draining in the outlanes. TALES OF THE KNIGHTS Spell out the word TALE by hitting the standup targets belonging to its letters. When Tale is lit at the left sinkhole, spin the Round Table to select a knight, then land the ball in the hole to start the selected knight's tale. Follow the instructions on the dot-matrix display to complete the tale! DUEL CHAMPION Spin the Round Table fast enough to attract the attention of another knight, then go to Camelot via Mordred's Ramp for a duel. Hit your opponent's lit target, then try to smack his head with the ball! Hold the Champion title as long as you can! INVADERS OF CAMELOT A couple of bumper hits will lure robber knights to Camelot. When this happens, go to the castle via Mordred's Ramp, and expell the invaders by pushing their ladders off from the wall - just hit the lit targets! The invader leader will try to protect his men, so just push aside him! HOLY GRAIL QUEST Complete the grail drop target bank to initiate the Quest for the Holy Grail! When Quest is lit, land the ball in the left sinkhole, then hit the spots with the lit gems to find the true purpose of the grail!} JOUST CHAMPION Hit the left or right orbit until a Tournament is announced, and the horse lamp will be lit. Enter the tournament by landing the ball in the left hole, and try to strike the opponent by launching the ball at the right time! Only lit target hit will be counted as tilting strike. Page 1 Excalibur Table - Manual SIEGE HURRY-UP Roll the ball down the right inlane, which will flip the left shortcut diverter, opening a way to a hidden saucer for a few seconds. Land the ball in this saucer to march to battle, and repeat this procedure three times! Just keep shooting Mordred's Ramp after the siege begins! MAGICAL MULTIBALL Lock three balls in Merlin's tower to start a 4-ball multiball mode. Boil the balls in Merlin's Cauldron to imbue them with magical power for a short time, empowering them to collect Super Jackpots. Collect three Jackpots from the lit ramps, and then in the next turn collect all of the lit Jackpots to raise the Jackpot! MORGANA'S LAIR Hit the swinging targets on the left to get them to swing, then stop them with another hit when they are moving toward the right. If both of them are on the right side, the hidden path will be revealed, and shooting the ball in it will lead to Morgana's Lair. Choose whichever sorcery you like - one of them is a Video Mode! MORDRED'S DUNGEON Hitting Mordred's Ramp a couple times will open Mordred's Fortress for a while, and a stealth mission can be started behind the gate. Follow the lit torches on the dot-matrix display to find the right way in the dungeon! KNIGHT'S RENOWN The knight's renown level can be improved by Excalibur Ramp shots. If the ball rolls down in the left inlane, a subsequent ramp shot will raise renown faster, and flipping the way of the shots will also speed up the progress. But beware: fame is fleeting. The renown level provides a formidable end-of-ball bonus! SKILL SHOTS Right after the ball launch, switch the flashing light to the correct rollover lane (the lane is ball is going through) to make a Skill Shot! Or make an Archer Skill Shot by landing the ball in the left hole, then, using the upper-left flipper bat, shoot the lit Holy Grail Target. A good shot activates the ball saver, too.} ACCOLADE AWARDS Spelling out the word DUB lights up Special in one of the outlanes. Only one Special can be lit at a time, but it can be changed to the other side with a slingshot hit on the respective side. Special will save the ball from draining or give a random award. Page 2 Excalibur Table - Manual BONUS MULTIPLIERS Bonus multipliers are earned by completing the Grail Quest or by chasing down the Questing Beast. They can also be acquired as a Special Award in the outlanes. EXTRA BALLS Extra balls can be collected from the left sinkhole, when Extra Ball is lit. Light it up by wining certain game modes, or with a lucky random Special award! Page 3 .
