Horizon Council to host General Membership meeting Nov. 17

Fort Myers, FL, Nov. 9, 2017 – The Horizon Council and the Lee County Economic Development Office will host the final Horizon Council general membership meeting of the year 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Florida SouthWestern State College, Building AA-Room 177, in Fort Myers.

The event will begin with networking and a light breakfast, followed by the meeting at 8:30 a.m. To register, email [email protected].

Ron Gardenhire, for the , will be the keynote speaker. Gardenhire played for the from 1981 through 1985. He served as a for the from 1991 through 2001, then managed the Twins from 2002 through 2014. He won the Manager of the Year Award in 2010 and served as a coach for the in 2017.

The meeting will also include the voting for new Horizon Council at-large members and officers for 2018.
