2:37 3 Yeah Man (Cooke) RCA SAM COOKE L126b 15 2:30 4 I Can't Stop (No No No) (Penn/Hawkins) FAME ARTHUR CONLEY L121a 9 FAME-originals met eerst Sam Cooke en Yeah Man, het (toegegeven) origineel van Sweet Soul Music van Arthur Conley, daarna Conley zelf en I Can't Stop (No No No), ook bij FAME opgenomen en achteraf gecoverd door James & Bobby Purify, The Blues Busters en Solomon Burke. 2:56 18 Slippin' Around With You (Penn/Oldham) ACE ART FREEMAN 10 Slippin' Around With You, Art Freeman. EINDAFK. Janis Joplin op Pearl. 3:30 19 A Woman Left Lonely (Penn/Oldham) CBS JANIS JOPLIN 3 20 Body And Soul (Green) CARROLL GIBBONS .

It was there I remember buying my first Tams Forty Five, 'What Kind Of Fool (Do You Think I Am)' on HMV and was immediately captured by Joseph Pope's distinctive ragged hoarse lead vocals, and the group’s rough, but tight harmonies. The original members, Joseph Pope, Charles Pope, Robert Lee Smith, and Horace Kay got together in 1952 whilst still at high school in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Their formative years as The Four Dots were spent gigging around the local club/dances/high school circuit. [email protected] Blekingegatan 25, 11856 Stockholm Sweden 046-8-6426358 I was born in 1946 in middleclass surroundings outside Stockholm, Sweden. Piano lessons in my youth went without any real progress. Culturally Sweden was isolated with a state owned radio and later television with very limited output.
