Other relevant information: TPCTC is a long-running technical conference, co-located typically with VLDB, which runs annually for 11 years already. It was established in 2009 to keep pace with technological changes and to bring relevant standards to the database industry; to explore new areas, ideas and methodologies in performance evaluating and benchmarking; for enhancements to existing TPC benchmarks inline with technology and industry trends; and to foster collaboration between industry experts and research community. There are some excellent top researchers and practitioners publishing and attending TPCTC and it is one of these few places where a publication can have large impact on the profession as both industry professionals and top-level database academics follow what is discussed in published here.
