Bonnie grew up in Wilber Nebraska, 40 miles southwest of the capital city, Lincoln. She got her liberal arts degree from a women’s college in Colorado, followed by a master’s in early childhood educati on from the University of Washington. Amongst her careers and educati on, Bonnie raised two children, Greta and Eric. Bonnie worked for King TV, helped co-run a fi lm producti on company, and was an educator for over 35 years, teaching English in over 52 countries. Fast forward through the years, and aft er helping to take care of her aging parents in Nebraska, Bonnie moved back to Port Townsend in 2007.
