From my point of view, there is no other citation, which more properly expresses the emotional impact of music to human beings. People come and go, but music remains forever, since acoustic waves are not bound to matter like monuments, paintings, or sculptures. In contrast, music as sound in general is transmitted by matter vibrations and can be reproduced independent of space and time. In this way, music is able to connect humans from the earliest high cultures to people of our present societies all over the world. Music is indeed a universal language and likely not restricted to our planetary society. The importance of music to the human society is also underlined by the Voyager mission: Both Voyager spacecrafts, which were launched at August 20th and September 05th, 1977, are bound for the stars, now, after their visits to the outer planets of our solar system (mission status: https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/status/). They carry a gold- plated copper phonograph record, which comprises 90 minutes of music selected from all cultures next to sounds, spoken messages, and images from our planet Earth. There is rather little hope that any extraterrestrial form of life will ever come along the Voyager spacecrafts. But if this is yet going to happen they are likely able to understand the sound of music from these records at least.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Markneukirchen, 04.01.2013 Wolf Hoffmann ist der neuste Framus-Endorser! Wolf Hoffmann ist mit absoluter Sicherheit einer der wichtigsten Gitarristen des Heavy Metal-Genres und erlangte als Mitglied der legendären deutschen Heavy Metal-Formation Accept internationalen Ruhm. Wolf ist bereits seit 1976 Mitglied von Accept, und dazu auch in zahlreichen Projekten außerhalb der berühmten Heavy Metal-Band tätig. 1997 veröffentlichte er das Soloalbum „Classical”, auf dem Rock-Versionen bekannter klassischer Stücke wie „Bolero“ oder „Habanera“ zu finden sind. Zudem war Wolf an dem Solo- Album des Skid Row Sängers Sebastian Bach mit dem Titel „Bring 'Em Bach Alive“ beteiligt. Ebenso ist Hoffmann auf dem 2002 in Japan erschienenen Album „Randy Rhoads Tribute“ zu hören. 2009 gab es eine Accept-Reunion, bei welcher Wolf selbstverständlich nicht fehlen durfte. Das Comeback-Album „Blood of the Nations“ erschien am 20. August 2010 und erhielt von der Presse schier überschwängliche Kritiken. Letztes Jahr erschien das Nachfolgealbum „Stalingrad“, welches ebenso mit einhelligem Lob bedacht wurde. Bei uns bei Framus & Warwick ist die Begeisterung groß, dass sich Wolf für unsere Instrumente entschieden hat und wir freuen uns auf eine enge und erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit mit einer echten Musiklegende.
