Airport Arrival . 1.1 KA arrives at Gibraltar Airport on Thursday at 4 pm on a private jet laid on for her by the Government of Gibraltar. 1.2 KA will be greeted at foot of aircraft steps by CM and Mrs Caruana, Minister & Mrs Reyes, and KA’s parents and close family members. CM will hand KA a bouquet of red and white roses (Gibraltar colours). RGR buglers will play a fanfare as she disembarks the plane. 1.3 Facilities will be available for members of the public to welcome her at airport, from a special enclosure on the tarmac next to the aircraft parking stand. Any member of the public wishing to greet KA at the airport must go to the air terminal early, no later than 3.30 pm, as they will have to be taken by bus to the aircraft parking stand. 1.4 Gibraltar flags will be issued to those members of the public attending at the airport, who wish to have them. Members of the public who attend at the airport will have time to reach Main Street to take part in the KA parade. 1.5 After spending a few minutes greeting dignitaries, family and friends, and members of the public present at the airport, KA will retire into Air Terminal to prepare for parade.

    DESIGNATION OF UNIVERSAL SERVICE PROVIDER Public Consultation 28th JULY 2021 C04/21 1 Universal services aim to ensure that basic electronic communications services which are essential to social and economic inclusion are available to end users upon reasonable request and at an affordable price. In 2020, the Authority embarked on a public consultation in order to review any possible changes which may affect the universal service obligations and designated provider/s.     InfoGibraltar Servicio de Información de Gibraltar Comunicado Gobierno de Gibraltar: Ministerio de Deportes, Cultura, Patrimonio y Juventud Remodelación de la biblioteca de John Mackintosh Hall Gibraltar, 30 de abril de 2013 El Ministerio de Cultura tiene el placer de anunciar que la segunda fase de la remodelación de la biblioteca de John Mackintosh Hall ha finalizado. La primera fase, que consistió en pintar, colocar una moqueta y sillas nuevas, reformar las mesas y cambiar el aspecto de la zona de recepción, ya fue anunciada el pasado verano. Esta segunda fase, que ha consistido en un área de lectura de periódicos con sillones y mobiliario nuevo para la sección de niños, ya ha sido finalizada. La dirección de la biblioteca también está muy orgullosa de anunciar que, gracias a una generosa subvención concedida por la Fundación John Mackintosh (John Mackintosh Trust), ha adquirido libros educativos y publicaciones para la biblioteca de referencia por valor de 10.000 libras. La selección de estos libros fue consultada con el Departamento de Educación (Department of Education). El Ministerio financiará la compra de libros de otras categorías.     THE RED PLAQUES OF GIBRALTAR This document has been compiled by: Julia Harris Contact on: [email protected] Date completed: May 2014 THANKS TO: - Gail Francis-Tiron for her help when needed - Pepe Rosado for reading this and making his valued comments - Claire Montado for giving me some of the older photos to use - My parents for their gentle ‘reminders’ to get this finished and proof reading! INTRODUCTION: These cast iron red plaques were placed around Gibraltar between 1959 and 1975 in possibly the first attempt to present the rocks history to visitors and residents. They were the work of the Gibraltar Museum Committee which at the time was under the chairmanship of the Hon. Mrs Dorothy Ellicott O.B.E., J.P. (see appendix III). Modern information boards will perhaps replace them (see ‘Future’ section below), but I hope this will not happen. They are their own piece of Gibraltar’s history. When I first noticed and started taking photos of these red plaques I looked for a record of how many there were to find. After speaking to The Heritage Trust and Tourist Board I was told there was not an up to date, completed list. So, here is mine, consisting of 49 plaques, some in situ, some not. There could be more around the rock, or in storage, as there are details of up to 53 in a document attached, dated October 1977, (see Appendix I). From this list there are 43 that I have found and are on mine, another 10 I did not find (some I know have been removed from site with no details of where they are stored) and there are 4 that I found that are not on it.
