ATLANTA BUSINESS CHRONICLE Former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray joins Atlanta real estate company August 23, 2017 (updated with interview from Doug Sams) Former Georgia quarterback and SEC record-holder Aaron Murray is getting into real estate. Murray will join commercial real estate services company Colliers International in Atlanta. Enlarge Aaron Murray is getting into real estate. He'll work for Colliers International in… more He’ll market multifamily real estate for its East Coast division and focus on business development. Murray believes his background as a quarterback prepared him for real estate. "You see right away how competitive this industry is, especially in Atlanta," he told Atlanta Business Chronicle. "And I want to compete. I know I'm going to have to work my butt off." Murray was also drawn to the team and culture at Colliers, where Atlanta CEO Bob Mathews is known for developing a collegiate atmosphere. "I like being part of a team, but this also feels a lot like a family," he said. Murray will also remain in the broadcast booth during the college football season, working as a color analyst for CBS Sports Network, as media outlets reported earlier this summer. Murray is one of the University of Georgia’s most decorated quarterbacks. A four-year starter from 2010 through 2013, he is the Southeastern Conference all-time leader in passing touchdowns, completions, passing yards and total yards. Murray went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/news/2017/08/23/former-uga-quarterback-aaron-murray-gets- into-cre.html .

Well, here you go. The national crisis is over. The annual post-Super Bowl football withdrawal, a seemingly incurable malady that impacts millions every year the second weekend in February and lasts weeks and months, is now in the past thanks to The Alliance of American Football, the creation of Charlie Ebersol, a television and film producer, and Bill Polian, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They have the football game plan, the business model with multiple big-money investors and a national television contract with CBS to succeed where other spring leagues have failed. The idea is not to compete with the National Football League. That’s a failed concept. The Alliance will complement the NFL and satisfy the insatiable appetite of football fans who otherwise would be suffering from a long period of depression.
