Philadelphia Eagle Safety Malcolm Jenkins and the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation Hosts 7​Th​ Annual Next Level Youth Football An Philadelphia Eagle Safety Malcolm Jenkins and The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation th hosts 7 ​ annual Next Level Youth Football and Cheer Camp ​ Free camp expands to offer 525 youth football and cheerleading fundamentals, combine testing and sport safety workshops for parents TH EVENT: 7 ​ ANNUAL NEXT LEVEL YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER CAMP ​ Malcolm Jenkins, 2X NFL Super Bowl Champion|2X Pro Bowl Safety and New Jersey native, will host The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation ‘s 7th annual Next Level Youth Football & Cheer Camp for 525 area boys and girls, age 7-17. Jenkins, along with other prominent NFL players, will provide instruction and motivational lessons with the support of local area coaches and community partners. Participants are grouped based on age, with an emphasis placed on skill development, safe play, and fun.. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt, complimentary lunch and giveaways. Over the two-day camp, health, wellness and sports safety information sessions will be provided for parents and guardians, presented by Safe Kids New Jersey and RJW Barnabas and other experts, on topics including: Creating a Safe Sports Culture, Nutrition and Hydration, Concussion Recognition and Recovery, Overuse Injury Prevention, Bullying,, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Athletes. In addition, Dynasty Sports Group will provide state-of-the-art combine testing. Dynasty Sports Group is a company owned by former New Orleans Saints’ Marques Colston, who will be onsite to assist with the drills and instruction.     FIRST-EVER NFL GAME AT LONDON’S TWICKENHAM STADIUM AMONG WEEK 7 HIGHLIGHTS The NFL rolls into Week 7 with 14 teams with two losses or fewer, including the league’s lone unbeaten club, the Minnesota Vikings (5-0), who are looking to improve to 6-0. Since 1990, when the current 12-team playoff format was adopted, 34 of the 36 previous teams (94.4 percent) that started 6-0 made the playoffs, 75 of the previous 91 clubs (82.4 percent) that started 5-1 advanced to the postseason and 117 of 185 teams (63.2 percent) that started 4-2 qualified for the playoffs. However, there’s still plenty of football left to be played and things can change quickly. Since 1990, 84 clubs have made the playoffs after starting 3-3 or worse. Last year, four teams with a losing record through six games advanced to the postseason – Houston (2-4), Seattle (2-4), Washington (2-4) and Kansas City (1-5). “It’s huge to get a win,” said New York Giants linebacker JONATHAN CASILLAS after the team’s 27-23 victory over Baltimore which evened the Giants’ record at 3-3. “It’s not going to get any easier going down the stretch for the rest of these games, so we had to win this game.” The next stretch of games for New York starts this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams (9:30 AM ET, NFLN) at London’s Twickenham Stadium, the first-ever NFL game at the UK’s famed rugby venue.

OFFENSE: WR MARQUES COLSTON, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS • The 252nd of 255 players selected in the 2006 NFL Draft, Colston led all rookies in October with 373 receiving yards, third-most in the NFL, and four touchdown catches, tied for third in the league. The former Hofstra standout, who was second in the NFL with a 93.3 yards-per-game average, hauled in 18 catches during the month with 16 resulting in a first-down or touchdown (88.9 percent). Colston averaged 20.7 yards per catch in October, the highest average in the league among players with at least 15 receptions.
