New Prediction Tool for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) Researchers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering have developed a tool, known as a nomogram, for patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) to predict the chance they will survive without their cancer returning after receiving surgery alone -- i.e., without receiving post-surgery chemotherapy. more
