With the great success of the 2017 Charity Gala, the Madison Club Charitable Foundation has now raised more than one million dollars for area non-profit projects!

OVER $100,000 Thank you to everyone who has supported the Madison Club Charitable Foundation RAISED! over the past thirteen years. Together we have supported the exceptional work of FOR CENTRO HISPANO our local non-profits and have made a positive impact on our community!

More than 200 area business executives and philanthropists supported the Madison Club Charitable Foundation’s 13th annual gala on November 4. The event raised more than $100,000 for Centro Hispano of Dane County. This gift will support Centro’s academic and career-readiness programs for middle and high school Latino students in the Madison Metropolitan School District.

Centro Hispano of Dane County is making important and significant strides in improving academic achievement gaps and the post-secondary trajectory for Latino kids. Our goal in partnering with Centro this year was to bolster their Juventud (middle school) and Escalera (high school) programming, which is offered in six Madison schools as well as at the Centro building on Madison’s south side. Juventud provides after- school academic and social support, parent engagement, and leadership development through 1:1 tutoring as well as career planning and leadership workshops. Escalera uses a national model to engage students grades 9-12 to promote increased academic achievement and facilitated career planning. The program includes tutoring, career workshops, guest Thank you to photographer Grace Cervantes for these images. speakers, resume building workshops, ACT/SAT prep and summer internships. 06 THANK YOU, DONORS & SPONSORS!
