Each a distinct personality of one man vying for control. Spector, the original personality, has asserted his dominance and fights to retain that control. But years ago, as a mercenary, Spector died in Egypt under a statue of the moon god Khonshu. In the shadow of the ancient deity, Marc returned to life. From then on, Marc took on a new aspect in honor of Khonshu, dedicating his second life to fighting crime as… Moon Knight infiltrated the Societé de Sadiques, having discovered their sinister leader is none other than his “Uncle” Ernst—the Nazi-disguised-as-Rabbi he had befriended as a youth, before witnessing him torture a Jewish man in the traumatic event that helped trigger Marc’s dissociative identity disorder. Ernst put Marc through a gauntlet wherein he defeated the elite inner circle of the Societé, but was pushed to the brink. Beyond exhausted, beyond reason, Marc is now in Ernst’s clutches. Page 2 of 15 TABLE SPECIFICS Introduction This is one of the four Tables which were included in the Marvel Pinball Vengeance & Virtue Pack, this is available for PFX2 on Xbox 360 for a mere 800MS PTS. This Table is for me one of the Best, if not the Best that Zen Studios have produced. It truly blends the Comic Book nature of the character of Moon Knight and his Universe. One of the most unique aspects of the Table is that it has cinematic occurrences; these can of course be skipped at any time. This adds to the whole immersion of the Characters World. The Layout of the Table is very unique and for me can’t be compared with any Table that has come before it, but I would say it’s perhaps a Blade II Table so to speak. Overall the Team once again have done such an amazing job they really captured the Character of Moon Knight brilliantly and incorporated his Universe in the Table seamlessly. The voice acting is top notch calibre and the Artwork etc.

  • Marvel Comics Avengers Chronological Appearances by Bob Wolniak
Marvel Comics Avengers Chronological Appearances By Bob Wolniak ased initially on the Bob Fronczak list from Avengers Assemble and Avengers Forever websites. But unlike Mr. B Fronczak’s list (that stops about the time of Heroes Reborn) this is NOT an attempt at a Marvel continuity (harmony of Marvel titles in time within the fictional universe), but Avengers appearances in order in approx. real world release order . I define Avengers appearances as team appearances, not individual Avengers or even in some cases where several individual Avengers are together (but eventually a judgment call has to be made on some of those instances). I have included some non-Avengers appearances since they are important to a key storyline that does tie to the Avengers, but noted if they did not have a team appearance. Blue (purple for WCA & Ultimates) indicates an Avengers title , whether ongoing or limited series. I have decided that Force Works is not strictly an Avengers title, nor is Thunderbolts, Defenders or even Vision/Scarlet Witch mini- series, although each book correlates, crosses over and frequently contains guest appearances of the Avengers as a team. In those cases, the individual issues are listed. I have also decided that individual Avengers’ ongoing or limited series books are not Avengers team appearances, so I have no interest in the tedious tracking of every Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, or Hank Pym title unless they contain a team appearance or x-over . The same applies to Avengers Spotlight (largely a Hawkeye series, with other individual appearances), Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Vision, Wonder Man, Hulk, She-Hulk, Black Panther, Quicksilver, Thunderstrike, War Machine, Black Widow, Sub-Mariner, Hercules, and other such books or limited series.

American Superhero Comics: Fractal Narrative and The New Deal A dissertation presented to the faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences of Ohio University In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Doctor of Philosophy Lawrence W. Beemer June 2011 © 2011 Lawrence W. Beemer. All Rights Reserved. 2 This dissertation titled American Superhero Comics: Fractal Narrative and The New Deal by LAWRENCE W. BEEMER has been approved for the English Department of Ohio University and the College of Arts and Sciences by ______________________________ Robert Miklitsch Professor of English ______________________________ Benjamin M. Ogles Dean, College of Arts and Sciences 3 ABSTRACT BEEMER, LAWRENCE W., Ph.D., June 2011, English American Superhero Comics: Fractal Narrative and The New Deal (204 pp.) Director of Dissertation: Robert Miklitsch Coining the term "fractal narrative," this dissertation examines the complex storytelling structure that is particular to contemporary American superhero comics. Whereas other mediums most often require narrative to function as self-contained and linear, individual superhero comics exist within a vast and intricate continuity that is composed of an indeterminate number of intersecting threads. Identical to fractals, the complex geometry of the narrative structure found in superhero comics when taken as a whole is constructed by the perpetual iteration of a single motif that was established at the genre's point of origin in Action Comics #1. The first appearance of Superman institutes all of the features and rhetorical elements that define the genre, but it also encodes it with the specific ideology of The New Deal era. In order to examine this fractal narrative structure, this dissertation traces historical developments over the last seven decades and offers a close reading Marvel Comics' 2006 cross-over event, Civil War.
