Language of the journal is English and Turkish. It publishes four issues a year. It covers subject areas related to forest engineering, forest products engineering, wildlife ecology and management and landscape architecture. Authors should only submit original work, which has not been previously published and is not currently considered for publication elsewhere. Research papers will be given priority for publication while only a limited number of review papers are published in a given issue. It is indexed in TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM Life Sciences Database (TR index), CAB Abstracts, Zoological Records , Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI), Cite Factor, Index Copernicus and Cosmos Index. Turkish Journal of Forestry is the official journal of Faculty of Forestry, Süleyman Demirel University. The ichneumonid biological control agents Enicospilus ramidulus, Barylypa amabilis and Itoplectis alternans were obtained by rearing the host larvae. Larvae of some species are par- ticularly harmful to agricultural and silvicultural regions worldwide. Consequently, for years intense efforts have been carried out to control them through chemical, biological, and cultural methods (LIBURD et al. 2000; HOBALLAH et al. 2004; TOPRAK & GÜRKAN 2005). In the field, noctuid control is often carried out by parasitoid wasps (CHO et al. 2006). Ichneumonids are one of the most prevalent parasitoid groups of noctuids but they also parasitize on other many Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera and Araneae (KASPARYAN 1981; FITTON et al. 1987, 1988; GAULD & BOLTON 1988; WAHL 1993; GEORGIEV & KOLAROV 1999).

The lepidopteran fauna of the former military training area near Oleško (Czech Republic: Ústecký Region) was studied in the year 2008. This area is on sandy ground, the predominant habitats are dry Scots pine forests growing on sand. 700 species were recorded, many of them are markedly psammophilous. BUNCUKÇU A b s t r a c t : We have investigated Ichneumonidae fauna of Isparta province between 2001-2007 in Turkey. Totally, 46 species, 36 genera, 12 subfamilies were found; 4 species from Anomaloninae, 6 species from Banchinae, 3 species from Campoplaginae, 4 species from Cryptinae, 14 species from Ctenopelmatinae, 4 species from Pimplinae, 2 species from Ophioninae, 5 species from Typhoninae, 1 species from Cremastinae, Metopiinae, Collyriinae and Diplazontinae. 1 genera and six species, noted in the text by asterisk, are new records for Turkey. The synonyms, general and Turkish distribution and as well as known host of all species were given. K e y w o r d s : Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Fauna, Turkey. Introduction In Turkey, the past studies about Ichneumonidae were inadequate to make precise esti- mations about the existance of species. On the other hand, it is known that Turkey with its high diverse biota is expected to provide a very rich fauna of Ichneumonidae as well as other insects (ÖZBEK et al. 2003). Isparta is one of the most important refugias of Turkey, possessing different topographic conditions and various kind of climates (GRUEV 2002).

A total of 7 species belonging to the subfamilies Anomaloninae, Campopleginae, Cremastinae, Cryptinae, Ctenopelmatinae and Tryphoninae have been identified. Among them, Chirotica insignis (Gravenhorst, 1829) is a new record for Turkish fauna. Anomalon cruentatum (Geoffroy, 1785) and Netelia (Netelia) dilatata (Thomson, 1888) are very common in the study area. New data on the distribution of 6 known species are presented. Additionally, a short zoogeographical characterization is given for each of the species. KEY WORDS: Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, new records, zoogeographical characterization, Turkey. Introduction The Hymenoptera are one of the four largest orders of insects, with over 152677 described species around the world (Zhang, 2013). All ichneumonids are parasitoids on various groups of insects and even spiders. They develop by feeding as larvae on a single immature host insect, which is killed by the ichneumonid (Gauld & Fitton, 1987). Ichneumonids are common and conspicuous in all world terrestrial biomes, from the Arctic tundra, through equatorial rainforests, to sub-Antarctic islands. They are found in suburban gardens and pristine forests, in deserts and on waterside vegetation.

Jaros & K. Spitzer Abstract The tortricid moth Cydia alazon (Diakonoff, 1976) was collected by light trapping in the pine zone of Tenerife Island in April – May 2003. At the same time larvae were discovered in cones of Pinus canariensis, from which adults emerged during May. The food plant of C. alazon was unknown until now. The moth is widely distributed and locally common in the pine zone of Tenerife, and P. canariensis appears to be the only food plant. Only several old records of adults were known from Gran Canaria and Tenerife, none with ecological data. • Hymenoptera Ichneumonidae of the Montecristo Island (Tuscan Archipelago), with Some New Records for the Italian Fauna
Naturalista sicil., S. IV, XLIII (1), 2019, pp. 101-111 FILIPPO DI GIOVANNI & PIER LUIGI SCARAMOZZINO HYMENOPTERA ICHNEUMONIDAE OF THE MONTECRISTO ISLAND (TUSCAN ARCHIPELAGO), WITH SOME NEW RECORDS FOR THE ITALIAN FAUNA SUMMARY Data on the presence in the Island of Montecristo (Tuscan Archipelago, Italy) of 35 taxa of Ich- neumonidae (Hymenoptera Ichneumonoidea) are provided. The specimens were collected with a Malaise trap in 2011 and 2012. Seven of the identified species were already known for the Tuscan archipelago, four for the Island of Montecristo. The total number of Ichneumonidae in the Archipelago rises from 20 to 49 species, that of Montecristo from 5 to 36. Eleven species are new records for South Italy. Townostilpnus chagrinator Aubert, 1916, previously known only from Cor- sica and southern France, is new to Italy.
