Lauréats Infolettre 24e GALA DU BADMINTON QUÉBÉCOIS Tenu le samedi 9 juin 2012 au Ramada Plaza Manoir du Casino de Gatineau Dans le cadre du Gala 2012, monsieur Allan Sklar fut intronisé au Temple de la renommée du badminton québécois. Cofondateur en 1977 des Entreprises Black Knight, dont il est le directeur général, Monsieur Sklar a grandement contribué au développement du badminton québécois. Nous l’intronisons à titre de bâtisseur par son appui constant, et ce, depuis 30 ans à divers programmes de la Fédération, son support envers les athlètes et les structures d’accueil et l’ingéniosité créative dans le développement de technologies au service des entraîneurs. Alors qu’ils étaient semés ¾, ils ont battu en demi-finale François Bourret et Michelle Li (favoris #2) 21-12, 24-26, 21-19 avant de perdre en finale contre Toby Ng et Grace Gao (favoris #1) 23-21, 12-21, 19-21. 5. Performance féminine - Beaulieu, Anne-Julie et Savard, Virginie – Club de badminton Rouge et Or (Québec) Au cours de la saison 2011-2012, elles ont su se hisser en 1ère place du classement en double féminin U19 avec notamment une médaille d’or lors de la 3e Étape du Circuit Junior canadien Black Knight tenue à Moncton en décembre 2011 et une médaille d’argent lors de la 2e Étape du Circuit Junior canadien Black Knight tenue à Toronto en novembre 2011. 3 5.
