Non sente e non esprime la metafora di se stessa.” Pier Luigi Cervellati Introduzione Il secolo scorso, quando il teatro in città non era semplicemente luogo di spettacolo ma centro vitale di aggregazione di tutti i ceti sociali, anche il Comune di Soriano nel Cimino aveva il suo piccolo teatro, luogo deputato d’incontro, dove assistere sì alla rappresentazione, ma dove ritrovarsi anche semplicemente per scambiare qualche battuta. È proprio questa considerazione che ha spinto l’Amministrazione comunale assai sensibile agli imput culturali che i cittadini di giorno in giorno propongono ad affidare al proprio ufficio tecnico la redazione di un progetto che possa riportare il piccolo cine-teatro Florida ad assumere un ruolo di rilevante importanza all’interno del tessuto urbano cittadino. Tale progetto si configura come completamento di un precedente intervento di restauro dell’edifico ad oggi in fase di conclusione e mira da un lato a completare quei lavori già inseriti nel precedente progetto ma poi stralciati a causa di una diminuzione del finanziamento concesso dalla Regione Lazio e dall’altro vuole 1 dotare il cine-teatro di alcuni elementi tecnico-funzionali per renderlo del tutto fluibile, sicuro e a norma.

Primi risultati delle indagini archeologiche (campagne 2015-2017) Giancarlo Pastura – Elisabetta De Minicis – Carlo Tedeschi – Filippo Bozzo – Matteo Serpetti – Manfredi Maria Vaccari The paper presents the results of a survey conducted on the medieval site of San Valentino, located 5 km North of Soriano nel Cimino. The archaeological excavations carried out by the University of Tuscia between 2015 and 2017 have highlight- ed the main historical phases of the settlement, from the Roman period until the modern age. Once the excavation area had been identified, the layers of collapse covering the entire surface of a church (19 × 7 m) were excavated. The building’s perimeter was exposed, revealing a church with a single aisle and apse, on a north-east/south-west alignment, memory of which had been completely lost. On the other hand, the first cleaning of the area in the immediate vicinity of the building re- vealed traces of the rooms abutting it, evidence of the long occupation of the site. Furthermore, there are numerous “pestarole” (vats/structures for pounding-crushing), single, with drainage channels, linked one to another and of various forms. Cena e pernottamento in hotel. 2° giorno – 31/12: TARQUINIA – TUSCANIA – SORIANO NEL CIMINO Prima colazione a buffet in hotel. Intera giornata dedicata alla visita guidata di Tarquinia e Tuscania.
