Students wishing to study within a traditional French city are encouraged to take courses in Bordeaux. Bordeaux is a port city situated in the southern part of France. It is the 9th largest city in France and a one hour drive to the seaside. Regularly classed at the top of the most attractive cities, Bordeaux can be discovered by biking along the boardwalk of the Garonne river or during an evening in one of the numerous nightlife spots. Although Bordeaux intends to keep its place of choice amidst the aeronautic and technology sectors it does not mean it is any less occupied with preserving its exceptional quality of life. Nearby you will find the Atlantic Ocean and the immense natural lakes perfect for surfing and water sports as well as the Pyrenees perfect for hiking and winter sports.

For the nature lovers, the Chambery campus is for you. The city of Chambery is located in the southern part of the French Rhône-Alpes in the region of Aples-Savoy. Savoy is the 2nd strongest economic region in France, 6th in the European Union and brings together 15 business clusters, 3 of which have a global presence. It has the strongest national concentration of industrial leaders as well as innovative small and medium sized business in the industrial, sport and leisure sectors with an area of excellence in mountaineering and winter sports. Savoy takes it dynamism from its location, placed at the crossroads of major axes of national and international communication. INSEEC benefits from an exceptional setting, between lakes and mountains in the Eco-Technology Park of the Savoy Technolac. A jewel of economic and technological innovation in the Rhônes-Alpes, the Savoy Technolac, with ISO 14001 certification, is a model of sustainable development and hosts 230 businesses. Tariffs for student visas and supporting documents vary from country to country so be sure to ask the local French Embassy or Consulate what documents they require to complete your file.

All nationals from the list of countries mentioned below, must follow the CEF online procedure. CEF, (Center for studies in France) is a mechanism offering prospective students the benefit of guidance and support at every step in the admission process; from the application form to full enrollment into the foreign institution. It even allows applicants to apply for their visa online and track the progress of their electronic application. Applicants open a personal account on the website of the Campus France local office in their country of residence. Registering with OFII in France International students with a “Visa Long Séjour” VLS/TS, with the following statement on their visa: “CESEDA R311-3 6°” must register with the OFII (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration) as soon as they arrive in France. International Student Guide Once you have been accepted to study at one of the institutions within Groupe INSEEC you will receive an ‘International Student Guide’. Please read through this guide very carefully. It will provide you with more information about finding accommodations, opening a bank account, getting a local mobile number, understanding SNCF (public transportation) as well as the necessary emergency numbers and important French phrases.

Mandatory Orientation Orientation is mandatory for all students. During the orientation we will provide you with more information about the academic program as well as practical information about the school. It is also the chance for students to meet the international office, faculty members and local students. During the orientation, students will take a picture for their school ID card. Non-European students will also be asked to register to the French National Health Insurance and pay the 220 euro fee.

Buddy System Each semester students are assigned a buddy. Your buddy should contact you by email before you arrive to France. Your buddy is here to help you. They can meet you at the airport, help you check in to your apartment and even assist you with getting a local number or monthly travel pass for the public transport system.
