DAY 02: VIENNA (B/L/D) There is much to see in Imperial Vienna: its Imperial palaces, Museums Quarter with historic and contemporary buildings displaying works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists, the impressive buildings along the Ringstrasse, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the famous Vienna State Opera among many others. This afternoon perhaps you will venture to Schönbrunn Palace, the splendid summer palace and gardens of Empress Maria Theresia and the Habsburg empire. Optional: Vienna Bus and Walking Tour Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe. Not only is it a place worth seeing for is architectural charm; it also boasts a collection of famous figures throughout history such as Sisi, Strauss, Mozart and the memorable images of Gustav Klimt. The city is bursting with history, distinguished monuments, museums, palaces, scenic parks, charming cafés and noteworthy pastry shops! The tour begins by bus as we head in the direction of the famous Viennese Ring, where you’ll enjoy major attractions such as the Urania, State Opera House, Parliament, the seat of the Habsburgs Hofburg, City Hall, Burg Theater and Vienna University. We then delve deeper into the city on foot, starting at the famous Albertina Museum. From here we take a one-hour leisurely walk along the former city moat called the “Graben” where you’ll discover the Hofburg. Then we head towards St. Stephen’s church and along the way, you’ll be able to uncover the secrets behind Vienna’s rich culture and stunning architecture. After the walking tour you will have some time to enjoy the city on your own.

DAY 03: DURNSTEIN - MELK (B/L/D) Today you will visit the towns of Durnstein and Melk, small towns on the Danube, well known areas of Austria for wine growing. Melk Abbey is also known for the 11th century monastery that is built high above the town. Here you can find gold statuaries adorning the domed Abbey Church, and the vast library houses medieval manuscripts for you to discover. Tonight, you can look forwards to a Pirate themed dinner and a musical evening in the lounge. Overnight onboard

Optional: Melk Abbey Tour Located in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage ‘Wachau Valley’, the town of Melk has been a spiritual and cultural center of Austria for more than 1000 years. It is best known for its impressive baroque style, Benedictine monastery known as Melk Abbey which is also one of Austria’s great cultural highlights and Europe’s largest Abbeys. Since the 12th century, a school has related to the monastery, and valuable manuscripts have been collected here, which have ultimately helped to create the breathtaking library that you will see within the Abbey chambers. DAY 05: BRATISLAVA (B/L/D) Discover the Slovak capital of Bratislava, home to the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, its old city walls, and the summer residence of the archbishop and the current residence of the president of . Perhaps you can take a leisurely stroll from Michael’s Gate through the historic city center and the Primatial Palace and St. Martin’s Cathedral. The Academia Istropolitana is the oldest university in the city, dating back to the 15th century. Cruise the Danube this afternoon and enjoy the Captain’s Gala Dinner this evening. Optional: Bratislava Walking Tour Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and considered the main economic, political and cultural capital of the country. The city encompasses a fine blend of the past and present; on one hand many historical buildings display the city’s rich past routes, however on the other hand, universities and urban youth cultures ultimately create a bustling juxtaposition within one city. The Bratislava city excursion is a guided tour with a chocolate twist! The tour begins by the pier and explores the wider city center, where you will witness historic and modern landmarks of the city such as the St. Martin's Cathedral, the city walls, the Presidential palace and spectacular views from the Slavin Monument and the castle area. Once we arrive in the historical center, we start from St. Michael's Gate and meander our way through the city's main streets, discovering all the major sights, beautiful sculptures and fountains, whilst embracing the city’s history and famous legends.

DAY 06: BUDPAEST (B/L/D) Today in the early morning you arrive in Budapest. Spend the afternoon in this which uniquely straddles the Danube River. A large portion of this city is a World Heritage Site, including the banks of the Danube, Andrassy Avenue, the Buda Castle quarter, Heroes’ Square, and the Millennium Underground Railway. With 80 geothermal hot springs, the third largest Parliament building in the world, and the second largest Synagogue, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy in this bustling metropolis. Optional: Budapest Bus and Walking Tour Discover the magical city of Budapest with a guided bus & walking tour. As the capital of , Budapest is often called the “Paris of the East” and is a highlight for travelers from far and wide. The tour will not only give you a sense of Budapest’s colorful history, but also give insight into how the city’s division by the Danube river has played such an important role in society over the centuries - one side known as “Buda” and the other “Pest”. The bus tour includes both parts of the city and will uncover famous monuments located on the street Andrássy Út, such as the Opera; Hero’s Square; the famous under-cover market; St. Stephen’s church; the largest synagogue in Europe, in which the famous played; and finally Parliament, which interestingly resembles the British Parliament building and contains nearly 20 km of corridors! Via the famous chain bridge, we then visit the historic Buda Castle and coronation church of St. Matthew, which is where the famous Sisi and her husband were crowned as Hungarian rulers. An unforgettable view of the city will open from the fabulous Fisherman's Bastion, where you can enjoy the city at your fingertips.

DAY 07: ESZTERGOM (B/L/D) The vessel departs Budapest shortly after breakfast and continues to Slovakia. Relax onboard as you cruise to Esztergom, the seat of the Hungarian and former capital city. Once you return from the day, there will be a farewell cocktail and captain’s dinner to celebrate your river cruise experience. Watch the departing lights of the city as the vessel continues its way. CRUISE GUESTS: Cruise passengers must check their international and domestic flight details with our sales and reservation staff before issuing their tickets. This is to guarantee the feasibility of transfers, tours and activities on the scheduled arrival & departure days. Deviations to the cruising itinerary can not be accommodated, except in emergency situations. Passengers are to board the cruise and disembark according to cruise itinerary, at the designated times and ports.

If you would like to add any pre and post Cruise services, feel free to contact us and we will provide you with details and quotation. CHANGES BY YOU: If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our Suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment fee of $100.00 per revision per booking. No name changes are accepted. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.

PASSPORTS & VISA FEES: All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements.
