The variety of horticultural products of the State/District has earned world-wide fame because of its good quality and taste. The fruit crops grown in the District are apple, almonds, walnuts, pears, cherries and apricots. Horticulture sector has grown immense popularity in the District from the past decade thanks to the Farmer friendly initiatives by the Department.
