In 500 yards take the third Turn R. A3124 to North Tawton. (Just past ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ the Services area, (second Turn R.)) ​ ​ After 5 miles at crossroads Turn L. onto the A3072 towards ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Okehampton. In ½ mile Turn R. continuing on the A3072 for 3½ miles towards ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Hatherleigh and to the crossroads in Exbourne. Continue at (E) ​ ​ (B) From Plymouth follow signs to Tavistock on the A386. ​ (B) 2. From Tavistock follow the A386 signs to Okehampton for 11½ ​ ​ ​ ​ miles to Sourton Cross. ​ (B) 3. At Sourton Cross, where the A386 passes underneath the A30, ​ follow the A386 signs to Bideford for 2 miles to the roundabout at ​ ​ ​ Fowley Cross. Turn R. at Fowley Cross roundabout, follow signs to Hatherleigh ​ ​ A386 for 500 yards to Place Cross Roundabout. ​ ​ Turn L. at Place Cross roundabout continue to follow the A386 to ​ Hatherleigh.
