Quotation forms free of cost can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer(Ele),Central Warehousing Corporation, Container freight station ,1, Arcot Road , Virugambakkam, Chennai 600092 up to 4.00 PM on 22.04.2019 The duly filled in quotations placed in sealed cover, along with EMD of Rs 1100/- (Rupees one thousand one hundred only) in the form of DD/pay order drawn in favour of The Regional Manager, CWC, RO, Chennai, super scribing the name of the work on the envelope should reach the office of the Executive Engineer (Ele),Central Warehousing Corporation, Container freight station ,1, Arcot Road , Virugambakkam, Chennai 600092 on or before 3.00 P.M. on 23.04.2019 and the quotation shall be opened on the same day at 3.30PM in the presence of the quotationers who may wish to be present. Quotations either by courier/registered post/speed post would be received only up to the closing hours up to 3.00 PM on 23.04.2019. The corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation in part or full thereof without assigning any reason. Detailed notice can also be downloaded from the web sites www.tenderhome.com and www.cewacor.nic.in. EXECUTIVE ENGINEER(Ele) TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. The work should be carried out as per CPWD / BIS specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. The Income tax, labour Cess and GST TDS shall be deducted from the bills as per statutory provisions. 3. Prices quoted are inclusive of GST and all other applicable taxes. Nothing extra will be paid on quoted rates. However, contractor is required to submit tax invoice as per rules under GST Law. CWC shall deduct GST at source at applicable rates in case transactions under this contract are liable to GST deduction at source. Under GST regime, the Contractor is required to correctly and timely disclose the details of output supplies to CWC as per GST rules in his GST returns. Non-compliance would result in mis-matching of claims and denial of input tax credit to CWC. Notwithstanding anything contained in agreement/contract, in case of such default by the contractor the amount of Input tax credit denied in GST along with interest and penalty shall be recovered from the contractor. Unless expressly stated otherwise, where any identifiable cost saving are realized during the currency of contract by virtue of any reduction (i) in rate of tax on any supply of goods/services OR (ii) any benefit of input tax credit accruing to contractor, contractor shall be passed on such benefits to CWC by the way of commensurate reduction in prices. : 2 : 4. The quotationer should invariably provide the GST Number. 5. The offer shall be open for acceptance for 90 days from the date of opening. The Corporation without prejudice to any right or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit 50% of the earnest money, if any quotationer withdrawn his quotation before the date or makes any modification in the terms and conditions of the quotation which are not acceptable to the Corporation, and to forfeit whole of the earnest money if the quotationer, whose quotation accepted, fails to commence the work specified in the NIQ (along with changes in scope if any) in prescribed time or abandons the work before its completion. Further he/they himself/themselves would disqualify for future participating in the tender/quotations of the Corporation for the next five years. 6. The work shall be completed within 15 day from the date of issue of the work order . 7. Security deposit@10% shall be deducted from the bills and will be refunded after the defect liability period of 6 months for the works costing up to 10.00 Lakh & 12 months for works costing above 10.00 Lakh from the date of completion of work. The EMD will be adjusted towards security deposit. 8. Quantity may vary on Plus/Minus side as per actual site conditions. 9. During the course of the work, contractor should take proper care to avoid any damages to the existing structures. In case of damages, to the existing structures the contractor at his own cost shall make the same good to the original condition. 10. The contractor is responsible for the safety of workmen during the work in progress. 11. No water & electricity will be supplied from CWC source. 12. No Tools & Plants or materials shall be issued from CWC stores, 13. The quotations should be submitted along with the appropriate Registration Certificate, Experience for the Electrical Work completed. A. The quotationer should have completed successfully at least one similar nature of work (i.e., Electrical Works) of value not less that Rs. 18702.00 (35% of the estimated cost) during the last four financial year (i.e. 2015- 16),(2016-17), (2017-18), (2018-19). It should be noted that credentials for the executed for private organization shall not be considered. The first railway station in Madras city was opened at Royapuram in 1853. The first to be constructed in South India, the Royapuram station served as the headquarters of the Madras Railway Company. On July 1, 1856, the first railway service in South India was commenced between Madras and Arcot. Madras Central was opened in 1873 followed by the Egmore Railway Station in 1908. Egmore served as the headquarters of the Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway from 1908 to 1951 while Central served as the headquarters of the South Indian Railway Company from 1927 to 1951.

He appealed on 28-8-2009 and to the Commission on 22-9-2009. Not getting a reply, whereupon the Commission posted enquiry today. Subsequent to the date on 4-11-2009, he was replied to by the appeallate authority also stating the samething. The public authority was represented and could not point out any examination whether any overwhelming public purpose existed. The petitioner when queried by the Commission also states that he has not stated any public purpose in his application and in the appeal petition he has stated that the candidates for election for MLAs and M.Ps. have to file affidavits containining the assets and liablity staement and they are kept on public record and hence on the same analogy no privacy should be claimed for the statement of assets and liabilities of the Corporation councilors.
