Please note that Kosi Forest Lodge is not accessible by 2-wheel drive so please specify if you require a transfer from the parking area. Our collection times are 12h00 and 16h00. This needs to be pre-booked. NB: We recommend taking the route via Hluhluwe rather than Jozini. The Jozini route often has cattle wandering across it, some of the signs have fallen down and so caution and slower driving speeds are necessary. Also particularly around the area of Tembe Elephant Park, the road has quite a few large potholes which have caused damage to some cars. Although the Jozini route may appear shorter in distance, it ends up taking almost as much time as the Hluhluwe route, but without all the hazards!

Please phone the lodge from Hluhluwe or Jozini as you pass through these towns, so that we are aware of your whereabouts, and do not travel after 16h00 as these roads can be in poor condition and share with people/cows.
