Snap a pic in the sleigh outside the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. It’ll be Christmas card perfect! Get a picture with the Liberty Bell in the Square. In the square between the Liberty Tree and the Liberty Square Riverboat are stocks and an age old favorite picture spot. Have your picture taken in the Liberty Square Gazebo tucked away passed Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. Head upstairs in Columbia Harbor House for great views of Liberty Square and get a picture from the unique angle. Treats, Eats, and Restaurant Details Try the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow. They have ones with fruit and nutella as well as spicy chicken waffles. Have the fish n chips at Columbia Harbour House, don’t forget the second floor of the restaurant offers great views of Liberty Square. When approaching Columbia Harbour House from Fantasyland, notice the restaurant has the facade of an English pub. After checking out the English facade of Columbia Harbor House, see if you can notice the difference on the American Inn side of the restaurant. Each of the dining rooms in Liberty Tree Tavern represents a different American, colonial hero. Can you identify them? Sit down to dinner in The Diamond Horseshoe and see the self playing, antique piano. Is it a trip to Disney World without a turkey leg? Find out which Hitchhiking Ghost is following you home from the Haunted Mansion. On your way out of the Haunted Mansion find the pet cemetery and see if you can find Mr. Toad. Ride the Liberty Belle around Tom Sawyer Island and listen to the stories of Mark Twain. Check out the artifacts formerly owned by U.S. presidents in The Hall of Presidents. See the official presidential seal at the hall of presidents. It’s the only place beside the White House itself where the true, unaltered seal can be used. Liberty Square Shows Hear from the leaders of America at the Hall of Presidents. Outside the Hall of President see the Muppets reenact Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride. Don’t rush off from the Hall of Presidents without seeing the Muppets version of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, too! Watch the Festival of Fantasy parade from outside Sleepy Hollow, Liberty Tree Tavern, or Liberty Square Riverboat dock. Shops Til You Drop Have a personalized ornament made in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. One of the first guests to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is selected to decorate their littlest tree each day. See if you will receive the honor. Buy a hand painted parasol featuring your favorite Disney characters at the parasol cart near Sleepy Hollow. Have an old fashioned, silhouette profile portrait cut before your eyes at the Silhouette Cart. In Momento Mori have your picture taken to see what you’d look like as a ghost. The brown path of pavement running through the land is meant to be poop in a time of no indoor plumbing. Count the 13 lanterns hanging in the Liberty Tree. Each one represents one of the original American colonies. Add an 18 before any of the numbers on the doors in Liberty Square and see what colonial architecture style was popular in that year. Find Paul Revere’s Lanterns, they’re in one of the upper windows of the Hall of Presidents. For an inexpensive souvenir that can fit in your pocket, check out the different pressed pennies you can collect. They’ll cost you $.51 and come with all kinds of characters. Before you start, decide if you want to split up into teams, work as individuals, or stick together to complete. Prizes can be determined by you. Whether you want to compete for a particular Disney Snack, over the decision of which ride to go on first, or simply bragging rights, it’s up to you. Starting from and returning to The Liberty Bell, check all items off the list below and be the first to return to your group with appropriate evidence (photographic, fill in the blank, drag a witness back with you, anything to prove you completed the tasks below) to win. For a quicker version, set yourself 45 minutes to complete as many tasks as possible, the team with the most points wins. Scavenger Hunt Tasks: 1. Get your picture locked in the stocks outside Liberty Square Riverboat's dock (2 Points) 2. Avoid stepping in the poop path for the entire scavenger hunt (3 Points) 3.
