News Release NEWS RELEASE Casio to Release EDIFICE Collaboration Models with Scuderia AlphaTauri Designs Feature White and Navy Blue Team Colors EQB-1100AT / ECB-20AT TOKYO, September 14, 2020 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the release of new additions to the EDIFICE line of high-performance metal chronographs based on the brand concept of “Speed and Intelligence.” The new EQB-1100AT and ECB-20AT watches are collaboration models with Scuderia AlphaTauri Formula One team, winner of the 2020 Italian GP. Casio had been an official partner of the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula One team since 2016. This season, the team changed its name to Scuderia AlphaTauri. The EQB-1100AT and ECB-20AT collaboration models are the first since the team changed its name. The dials feature a gradated navy blue and white color scheme, taking after the Scuderia AlphaTauri team colors and exactly the same navy blue as the EDIFICE brand color. The ECB-20AT features a navy blue case and band. Both models are inscribed with the team logo on the dial, case back, and band, part of a design that is infused with the world view of Scuderia AlphaTauri. The EQB-1100AT features a thin 9.6 mm case and an octagonal bezel combined with carbon, a material extensively used in motorsports. The watch can simultaneously display the time in two cities. The ECB-20AT is based on the earlier ECB-20 model, and is equipped with a Schedule Timer, with the addition of a leather band inscribed with the team logo. On both models, the face is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, tough enough for team mechanics to use in the paddock and pits. The watches also automatically adjust the time when paired with a smartphone using a dedicated app. Both models are inscribed with the team logo on the dial, case back, and band, part of a design that is infused with the world view of Scuderia AlphaTauri. These are truly special collaboration models that support team members who travel around the world and need to schedule things down to the minute. The team marks a new start in the 2020 season, having changed its name from Scuderia Toro Rosso to Scuderia AlphaTauri. With team driver Pierre Gasly’s Italian Grand Prix win in September 2020, the Scuderia AlphaTauri Formula One team is gaining even more attention. The team brings its youthful energy, racing cars powered by outstanding technological innovation, and the passionate pursuit of speed to the Formula One circuit. Believing these qualities perfectly match the EDIFICE brand concept, Casio has been an official team partner since 2016. Communiqué De Presse 12 AVRIL 2015 Chinese Grand Prix race report Today’s Chinese Grand Prix came to a disappointing conclusion with just one Renault powered car collecting points. Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo finished in ninth position, having recovered from a slow start off the line. Scuderia Toro Rosso passed the flag in 14th position with Carlos Sainz. Key race points: Daniel Ricciardo had a very slow start from seventh on the grid and dropped back to P17 at the end of the first lap. Despite setting a good pace, the Australian was caught in traffic and progress through the field was tricky. After a two stop race he finished in ninth. Daniil Kvyat retired on lap 16 with an ICE failure. Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen put in another fighting performance, overtaking multiple cars throughout the race. The Dutchman looked set for eighth position but just two laps from the end stopped suddenly on the pit straight with an ICE problem. Teammate Carlos Sainz enjoyed a good start, but spun on the second lap and dropped down the order. A reported gearbox problem mid race caused a momentary loss of power but heavy traffic made it difficult to make an impression on the field. The Spaniard came home in 14th. Rémi Taffin, Director of Operations: We had a number of issues in China and did not give the drivers the equipment they needed. We developed a car system problem in Qualifying on Daniel’s car so we changed the ICE as a precaution. Then we had two unforeseen failures in the race.

Communiqué De Presse 27 JUILLET 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Report HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX RACE REPORT Infiniti Red Bull RacingRenault driver Daniel Ricciardo raced to victory in today’s absorbing Hungarian Grand Prix. Daniel’s win, the second for the team and for the Renault Energy F12014 Power Unit this season, came after a thrilling threeway battle for the lead with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel secured seventh position for Infiniti Red Bull Racing and JeanEric Vergne ninth for Scuderia Toro Rosso, putting three Renault Energy F12014 Power Units into the top ten. The result consolidates Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s second position in the constructors’ championship and Daniel Ricciardo’s third in the drivers’ race. Key race points: Daniel Ricciardo mastered the everevolving track conditions to move into the lead on lap 9 during the first safety car period. He retained the lead until the second deployment of the safety car and then pitted for a third time in the final third of the race. The Australian hunted down Rosberg for P3, then made a bravado move on Lewis Hamilton for second on lap 67. The next lap he outbraked Alonso into the first corner for the lead and eased out a cushion of five seconds to seal his second career win and the second for the Renault Energy F12014 Power Unit. Sebastian Vettel was sitting in the top three until the first safety car. Pulling into the pits a lap after the following pack dropped him down the field, into the middle of a closefought battle for fourth position with Vergne, Rosberg and Hamilton.

Communiqué De Presse 29 MARS 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix race report All four Renaultpowered cars finished in the points in today’s Malaysian Grand Prix. After 56 laps of hardfought racing the two Scuderia Toro Rosso cars passed the flag in seventh and eighth, leading home the Infiniti Red Bull Racing duo, who finished ninth and tenth. Key race points: Max Verstappen became the youngestever driver to score points in a Formula 1 race when he brought his Scuderia Toro Rosso home in P7. The 17yearold started from a superb sixth on the grid and battled with his teammate, the two Williams and Red Bulls at various stages in the race. Some inspired overtaking moves allowed the Dutchman to collect his first points’ haul just two races into the season. Scuderia Toro Rosso teammate Carlos Sainz had a similarly impressive race. The Spaniard stayed out of the pits during the early safety car period and ran in the top six until his first stop. He graduated back up the field, likewise engaged in a tight fight with the Williams and Red Bulls before his second stop. He was passed by Verstappen seven laps from the end but held off the two Red Bulls until the flag. Daniil Kvyat finished in P9 for Infiniti Red Bull Racing. The Russian was bottled up behind the Force India of Hulkenberg around one third of the race, but as he attempted to pass he got punted onto the grass. Hulkenberg was handed a penalty, but Kvyat had already dropped down the order.

  • Scuderia Toro Rosso 2015
SCUDERIA TORO ROSSO 2015 …this is how we do it! The Team Scuderia Toro Rosso has been competing in the Formula 1 World Championship since 2006. The team was created with a view to finding two extra cockpits for the stars of the future coming through the ranks of the Red Bull Junior Driver Programme. As we reach the significant milestone of our tenth year in the Championship, the team’s driver line-up is the perfect synthesis of that goal, as we go into battle with two rookies, Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen, who have a combined age of just 37! When the team was first established it operated partly as a satellite to Red Bull Racing, running a car designed mainly by Red Bull Technology. However, for the past five years, Scuderia Toro Rosso has run completely independently, doing all the car design and manufacturing work in-house in Faenza. This necessitated a major expansion programme for the factory, which is still on-going and the Italian side of the operation is supported by the team’s wind tunnel facility in Bicester, England. On the engine front, we will tackle our second year powered by Renault. Team Principal Franz Tost has been at the helm since 2005, while the technical side is managed by Technical Director James Key. Currently the team has one win and one pole position to its name, both courtesy of Sebastian Vettel, who produced the fairytale result at the team’s home race, the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, back in 2008. Scuderia Toro Rosso can also be proud of having Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat in its ranks, seeing them progress as drivers and be selected to race for Red Bull Racing.
