Cactus 2010 Welcome to the 2010 Cactus Catalogue Cactus Is an 18-Year-Young Designer and Manufacturer of Outdoor Equipment and Industrial Solutions CACTUS 2010 Welcome to the 2010 Cactus Catalogue CACTUS IS AN 18-year-young designer and manufacturer of outdoor equipment and industrial solutions. Our equipment has been to the ends of the earth (literally), climbed the highest mountains, done duty in the busiest cities and accompanied people on their journeys of discovery – for some this may be a rush-hour commute by bike in Wellington while for others it may mean a first ascent of an unnamed peak. We also equip industrial users from postal delivery staff, to firefighters, from mining professionals to landscapers. In all that we do, Cactus strives to produce items that live up to our ‘ethic construction’ mantra – meaning that our products are the result of extensive research, attentive design and an almost maniacal focus on durability. As a business we strive to create a welcoming and fun workplace, and seek to balance the social and environmental aspects of our business as well as the financial ones. We appreciate that you’ve chosen to pick up this catalogue and hope you enjoy seeing what we do… U COVER: Tom Riley at Top Waitaha Hut, Westland. MARK WATSON. 1 TwoDee’s Shadowrun Storytime Written by TwoDee Edited and Compiled by Jarboot!!j4xjG8Gxyo4 Further Edited and Compiled by Impatient Asshole Anon What follows is arguably the best series of storytime threads ever created. If you're any sort of fan of Shadowrun—whether you're a new GM, newbie player, or even a veteran—this prose will really help flesh out what sort of fun you can have with the system and setting. It's nearly 400 pages and about 130,000 words, so download this to read on your phone/laptop/ebook/commlink, because this will take a while. I'm Jarboot, a fellow fa/tg/uy and Shadowrun fan. Someone suggested that someone make a compilation of this story for easier reading, so I figured I could do it. Editing is minimal, but I fixed a lot of spelling and general syntax error, most of which were mentioned by TwoDee in a post following the original. There are some little Jackpoint-esque comments from other people from the threads included in the document, which are differentiated by a green color and indented text. I may have included a picture or two in there, too. Also, 2D likes to do some foreshadowing at some points, so keep track of the greentexted dates if you feel confused. All these threads (except number 3, which you can search for using some of the other tags) can be found by searching for the “shadowrun storytime” tag on the /tg/ archive. Jarboot is an extremely helpful fa/tg/uy, but this particular Anon is an impatient asshole who wanted a fully updated version of TwoDee's Shadowrun Storytime, including but not limited to the full Chapter 15 and Chapters 21 and 21.5.

Boldt Associate Professor of Education and Women Studies Bruce Martin Adjunct Instructor Special Member Graeme Sullivan Department Director, Art Education *Signatures are on file in the Graduate School iii Abstract The purpose of my dissertation research study is to explore how Ojibwe participants’ relationships within localized contexts construct, imply, and convey meaning through cultural arts production. Through this study, I seek to understand how relationships with the local contexts inform various Ojibwe art practices and processes. The central concerns of my study are to expand and shift art education disciplinary framings and value sets that behold American Indian cultural art forms as artifacts. I investigate situated meaning making processes (e.g. cultural influences) embedded in Ojibwe cultural arts practices as a means to expand upon arts-focused ontology, that I define as an embodied and emplaced way of being within a particular ecology, while generating particular art forms. Ojibwe artists’ processes of cultural production are of extreme importance, which includes the harvesting, collecting, and cleaning of intended cultural art materials within northern Minnesota woodland ecology.

BLOOD MERIDIAN OR THE EVENING REDNESS IN THE WEST CORMAC McCARTHY Cormac McCarthy is the author of The Orchard Keeper, Outer Dark, Child of God, Suttree, Blood Meridian, and All the Pretty Horses, which won the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. The author wishes to thank the Lyndhurst Foundation, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He also wishes to express his appreciation to Albert Erskine, his editor of twenty years. Your ideas are terrifying and your hearts are faint. Your acts of pity and cruelty are absurd, committed with no calm, as if they were irre춖 istible. Finally, you fear blood more and more. For sorrow is a thing that is swallowed up in death, and death and dying are the very life of the darkness. • Fashion Design
Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body piercing, or furniture. Fashion refers to a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style with which a person dresses, as well as to prevailing styles in behaviour. Fashion also refers to the newest creations of textile designers.[1] The more technical term, costume, has become so linked to the term "fashion" that the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while "fashion" means clothing more generally and the study of it. Although aspects of fashion can be feminine or masculine, some trends are androgynous.[2][3] Fashion design Fashion design is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion design is influenced by cultural and social latitudes, and has varied over time and place. Fashion designers work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories; and, because of the time required to bring a garment onto the market, must at times anticipate changing consumer tastes. Fashion designers attempt to design clothes which are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. They must consider who is likely to wear a garment and the situations in which it will be worn. They have a wide range and combinations of materials to work with and a wide range of colors, patterns and styles to choose from. Though most clothing worn for everyday wear falls within a narrow range of conventional styles, unusual garments are usually sought for special occasions, such asevening wear or party dresses.
