Broadcast messages Andrew MacAlister, Oaks: «ap 2 for sale for 300+, bids to [email protected]» Ian Moes, Saturday Morning FC: «The board of SMFC is of course disappointed that we have opened this historic season with three losses, but it's important to note that Yamagata shipped more goals that we did. It's very distressing that the fans are booing Grape Ape but good keepers don't grow on trees. Right now there is just no value in the market. The funds are there if we identify a free agent but the over the odds prices some clubs are paying for the likes of Rogvar the Tall and Snowy Owl is just obscene. We certainly give manager Ian Moes our full vote of confidence. Never considered otherwise.» 3. Apprentices discovered Magical World: Aragorn, Boromir, Faramir 4. League results Rosedale Premiership Match day 3 ================================= Serial Killers - Erkrath Gladiators 5 : 4 Scorers: Ivan Milat (62., 74., 85.), Gong Runbo (78.), Arthur Shawcross (3.) ***Daniel (2., 11.), Coco (41.), Klein (69.) Twin Peaks Owls - ForEverton 2 : 0 Scorers: Donna Hayward (88.) ***--- Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Sent off: --- ***Magaye Gueye (64.) A simple win for former champions Twin Peaks Owls. Madmartigan City - Dirigentia con Brio 1 : 0 Scorers: Bebe (55.) ***--- Madmartigan City keep up with the two other top teams with perfect score. If these teams keep performing this well, it'll be incredibly hard to claim promotion from Division 1 this season! Lake Tanganyika - Ergodic Theorems 1 : 0 Scorers: Melanchromis (52.) ***--- Almost nothing happened in this game, but what little happened, belonged to Lake Tanganyika. Division 1 Match day 4 ======================= Dead Dino Storage - Lake Tanganyika 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Goudvis (40., 60.) Another win for Lake Tanganyika practically without opposing chances. They're looking very solid nowadays! Ergodic Theorems - Madmartigan City 0 : 0 A very even game with a deserved point for each team. Dirigentia con Brio - Twin Peaks Owls 0 : 0 Dirigentia con Brio managed an upper hand, but Twin Peaks Owls held on to a goalless draw. Stadium Dreams - Valiant City 4 : 2 Scorers: City of Manchester (14., 46., 52.), Liberty Stadium (42.) ***Holly Holdtight (4.), Blenda Blaster (72.) Booked: Loftus Road, Turf Moor ***--- The home crowd was in shock after Holly Holdtight gave the visitors an early lead, but City of Manchester set the record straight with a hattrick, giving the home team the win they deserved from play and chances. Division 2 Match day 3 ======================= Make or Break - Springfield United 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Nelson Muntz Make or Break dominated this game, but needed a penalty to actually get the win. New Generation - Extreme 2 : 1 Scorers: Sporty (69.), Fashionable (15.) ***Breukink (68.) Booked: Shirt Tail ***--- It has been a weekend full of deserved wins, but here, who else than Extreme lose a game they deserved to win...? I think Extreme must be one of the overall unluckiest clubs of Rosedale Open the recent seasons.

  • Minding the Body Interacting Socially Through Embodied Action
Linköping Studies in Science and Technology Dissertation No. 1112 Minding the Body Interacting socially through embodied action by Jessica Lindblom Department of Computer and Information Science Linköpings universitet SE-581 83 Linköping, Sweden Linköping 2007 © Jessica Lindblom 2007 Cover designed by Christine Olsson ISBN 978-91-85831-48-7 ISSN 0345-7524 Printed by UniTryck, Linköping 2007 Abstract This dissertation clarifies the role and relevance of the body in social interaction and cognition from an embodied cognitive science perspective. Theories of embodied cognition have during the past two decades offered a radical shift in explanations of the human mind, from traditional computationalism which considers cognition in terms of internal symbolic representations and computational processes, to emphasizing the way cognition is shaped by the body and its sensorimotor interaction with the surrounding social and material world. This thesis develops a framework for the embodied nature of social interaction and cognition, which is based on an interdisciplinary approach that ranges historically in time and across different disciplines. It includes work in cognitive science, artificial intelligence, phenomenology, ethology, developmental psychology, neuroscience, social psychology, linguistics, communication, and gesture studies. The theoretical framework presents a thorough and integrated understanding that supports and explains the embodied nature of social interaction and cognition. It is argued that embodiment is the part and parcel of social interaction and cognition in the most general and specific ways, in which dynamically embodied actions themselves have meaning and agency. The framework is illustrated by empirical work that provides some detailed observational fieldwork on embodied actions captured in three different episodes of spontaneous social interaction in situ.

  • Serpentine Sublime in the Derby Cont
SUNDAY, 5 JULY 2020 LOVE ROMPS IN THE OAKS SERPENTINE SUBLIME IN Already an emphatic winner of the G1 1000 Guineas, THE DERBY Coolmore=s Love (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) entered elite territory on Saturday with a nine-length romp in the G1 Investec Oaks at Epsom. While not quite in the arena of the 12-length 1983 heroine Sun Princess (GB), this winning margin equalled that of the 1996 heroine Lady Carla (GB) (Caerleon) and there have been only four fillies in this race=s history to have won by further. Settled behind a duo among the main six-strong group racing adrift of the runaway pacemakers Tiempo Vuela (GB) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) and Passion (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) early, the chestnut moved forward to swamp stablemate Ennistymon (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) approaching two out. Powering clear from there, she led home another one-two for Ballydoyle as Ennistymon held off Frankly Darling (GB) (Frankel {GB}) by 3/4 of a length for the runner=s-up spot.
