ANDY ERIKSON SECRET UNICORN

Andy Erikson battled her way through Marfan syndrome using stand-up comedy, which has led her to a successful run on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Now she unleashes her spirit animal on her debut live stand-up comedy album Secret Unicorn, coming September 1, 2015.

Audiences everywhere have fallen in love with self-proclaimed stand-up weirdo Andy Erikson and her lighthearted one-liners during her run on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. On her debut album, Secret Unicorn, recorded at Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, Andy continues to display her zany wit and endless punch lines, while expanding her comedic range with off-the-cuff crowd riffs, and hilarious stories.

Andy found a sense of pride and love for herself through stand-up comedy while a student at the University Of Minnesota. Performing comedy on stage, Andy found a place where she could celebrate her unique, weird self by making audiences laugh.

She is a part time graphic artist and a well-studied unicornologist, offering her depth of knowledge on the subject at unicornratings.tumblr.com. She also produces the magical podcast Stuffed Animal Party, which offers comics the chance to morph themselves into other people, places and things for intriguing, in-depth interviews.

In an effort to use her magical powers for good, Andy is working with the Marfan Foundation to help spread awareness of Marfan syndrome, and help better the lives of people suffering from the connective tissue disorder. Notable Stand-Up Performances
