Page 2 of 4 Motions 13-18(2) Northwest Territories Disability Action Plan Moved by the Member for Yellowknife Centre. NOW THEREFORE I MOVE, seconded by the honorable member for Deh Cho, that the Government of the Northwest Territories work with the NWT Disabilities Council and other allies in the disability community to develop a five-year action plan that addresses the needs of the disability community, including measurable outcomes and on-going evaluation. AND FURTHER, that the Government respond to this motion by the end of June 2016 with a proposed timeline for the development of the described action plan. The Member for Yellowknife Centre requested a recorded vote. I MOVE, seconded by the Honourable Member. for Great Slave, that, notwithstanding Rule 4, when this House adjourns on March 3, 2016, it shall be adjourned until Tuesday, May 31, 2016; AND FURTHER, that any time prior to May 31, 2016, if the Speaker is satisfied, after consultation with the Executive Council and Members of the Legislative Assembly, that the public interest requires that the House should meet at an earlier time during the adjournment, the Speaker may give notice and thereupon the House shall meet at the time stated in such notice and shall transact its business as it has been duly adjourned to that time. Question being called; the Motion was CARRIED.
