Hype Dance Company The company was established in 2006 and has a touring company and an academy.

The touring company gives exciting hip hop dance theatre performances and provides educational dance workshops to schools and youth groups across Yorkshire. All the dancers are fully skilled at delivering educational dance projects.

RJC Dance This, one of Britain’s most successful Black British dance companies, tours nationally and internationally and is based in Chapeltown. It was started in 1993.The performers and choreographers use the power of dance to engage with the audience with works covering a fusion of reggae, jazz and contemporary dance from a Black British perspective. Youth Dance England This national organisation aims to make dance accessible to all young people. Their research has shown that although 30000 people are employed in dance, only 2500 are performers so it aims to make young people aware of the many possibilities within the world of dance and help them to find the necessary resources to explore further.
