The Chinese Skating Association looks forward to hosting media attending the Lexus Cup of China 2014 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Shanghai, China. The event will be held at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center from November 7 to 9, 2014.
This information will assist you in planning your trip to Shanghai and to apply for media accreditation to cover the event. Every effort will be made to ensure journalists have all the appropriate facilities necessary to work at the event.
The press centre and press tribune will be open and operational for the first practice session on 7, November, 2014 at 10:30 AM.

Media Accreditation Information All media must fill in the Media Accreditation form and return it to the Chinese Skating Association Fax:+86-10-8831 8413 E-mail: [email protected] no later than October 31, 2014.
The total number of accredited media representatives will be subject to space available. The OC and ISU reserve the right to refuse accreditation should the number of applications exceed given space.
Accreditation will be granted to professional journalists and photographers only. Up to a total of two (2) journalists and one (1) photographer per publication are welcome to apply. Major wire services and newspapers may submit a request for two (2) photographers, however, only one (1) photographer is allowed at the rink-side.
Rights holding TV and radio must apply for accreditation via the Host Broadcaster. Accreditation Confirmation If the accreditation request is accepted, a Letter of Confirmation will be issued. You may be asked to present a copy of the Letter of Confirmation to receive your accreditation badge.
You will also be notified if your accreditation request is denied. Please note that the ISU and OC reserve the right to refuse accreditation with or without justification.

Transportation & Telecommunications
Transportation There are two airports at Shanghai: Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA) Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) Transportation fee is 100 US Dollars one way for at least two persons. If there is third person, extra 50 USD need to pay, and so on. If you have this need, please contact us in advance.
You also could take metro form airport to official hotel From Hongqiao Airport: take line 10 from Hongqiao Airport station to Hongqiao Road station, then change to line 4 to TangQiao station. From Podong International Airport: take line 2 form Pudong International Airport station to Century Avenue Station to change line 4 to TangQiao station.
You also could take taxi form airport to hotel. It is about 50 minutes from both airports and costs an estimated 35 USD.
Media could take the Shuttle bus form Official hotel to ice rink with their accreditation. The first stop at the ice rink is for media, and from hotel the shuttle stop is in front of the hotel main gate.
Telecommunications Please let us know your needs, and we will prepare them. If there is cost, we will send the Rate Card to you.
Useful Information Visa information: please fill in the visa information form and send it to us. We will apply visa invitation for you. As the procedure is done, we will let you know and you could directly go to Chinese embassy to apply for your visa.
