Gaiety survived the terrible floods of 2007 and was soon thereafter purchased by her current owner Giles Shearing. A former youth worker and boat fanatic, the very engaging Giles set about following the dream of converting Gaiety into a home for him, his wife and two young children. Transfer to the fridge to chill for 30 minutes or until lightly set. 6. Park considerately in the village on the roadside and walk past a postbox on your right. Turn immediately left at the triangular junction (following the sign for Methodist Chapel) and head down through the picturesque village. Follow the road downhill and around to the right.
