The competition was divided into age groups and the students were very successful. In the 14 to 16 age group, Julie Thomas won first prize and received a £25 Booka Gift Voucher and a trophy. Her story will be published in the Oswestry and Border Counties newspaper. Luke Gilchrist scooped third place and received a £5 Booka Gift Voucher. In the younger age group, 11 to 13, Zachary Morgan achieved second place and received a £10 Booka Gift Voucher. Freya Urquhart scooped third prize in this age group and received a £5 Booka Gift Voucher. Carrie Morris was very impressed with the stories and the winning students were invited to Booka to receive their prizes.
