Thomas Keller #AssumptionTogether Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, Assumption Parish and School faces financial challenges in the coming year. The stay-at-home order has hurt our Sunday Collection and forced us to cancel some of our largest fundraisers, including the Fish Fry and Parish Picnic. This leaves us without crucial funding for general operations and many of our favorite ministries and programs. The following demonstrates our estimated loss in revenue to general operations: - Lost Sunday Offertory (anticipated through May) $54,300 - Loss due to cancelled Parish Picnic $30,000 - Loss due to cancelled Fish Fry $26,000 Some of our ministries were funded by the Fish Fry and other fundraisers: - Loss to Home and School Association $2,500 - Loss to Athletic Association $2,500 - Loss to ACTS Retreats $2,500 - Loss to Early Learning Center $4,500 - Loss to Youth Ministry $1,000 In addition to your weekly offering, please consider making a donation online at www.assumptionstl.org, dropping it off at the rectory, or mailing it to: Assumption Catholic Church 4725 Mattis Road St. Louis, Mo. 63128 Our Assumption Parish Family has been very generous in the past, and I know if we pull together, we will emerge from this crisis to continue the Lord’s work here stronger than ever. Donors giving over $250 will receive an Assumption shirt! God bless, Fr. Keller Fourth Sunday of Easter 4 5 May 3, 2020 Elementary Religious Education Valerie Stringer Director It seems like so many activities have come to a halt with the closures due to Covid-19. But Ms. Stringer is using this time of staying at home to work on creating the materials that will be used for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 2 Atrium that will open to our school children in 1st grade this fall.
