Orienteering Course «On the trail of the ermine» This 3-km orienteering course in the Nordic skiing area at the edge of the Vanoise National Park is made for nature-lovers, mental games fans and sport and leisure lovers. It can be done on foot, on snowshoes or cross-country skis. The object is to find in your own time 10 checkpoints to mark off. Since its first running in January 2005, La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc (The Great Savoie Mont Blanc Odyssey) has been the annual dog sled event in Europe. It is the most demanding stage race in an Alpine setting in the world.
