Positive Causes – Fundraiser (July - September 2016)  On the busy high street in Cardiff city centre I encouraged people to buy the charity’s magazine, and spread awareness about the organisation and its important work.  Built skills as a clear and polite communicator.  Prepared, informed and sensitive in order to answer any questions.  Consistently able to go above the daily sale target of the magazine.

Tibet World – Volunteer (June – July 2016)

 Conducted English lessons: instructing a class of over 30 individuals of varying levels of English. This challenging role required me to think of fun and inventive ways to teach. Adapted as a confident, charismatic individual, who is able to bridge cultural differences.  Copywriter & Editorial Role: Maintained Tibet World’s online presence through Facebook and their website which is viewed intentionally.  Creatively promoted the activities of the organisation both globally and locally, encouraging people to get involved or donate to its cause. I ensured that content was appealing, comprehensive and to an excellent standard of English. Gender Collective – Assistant Curator (March 2016)

I worked as part of a team to curate an exhibition called “To Rehumanize, To Reconnect” which featured a series of paintings and photographs produced by individuals in Singapore who had been involved in sex work, including those who had been involved in human trafficking. The exhibition’s intention was to incite understanding and acceptance for a group of people who had suffered trauma, societal prejudice and stigmatisation.

 Negotiated and worked with artists, discussed the arrangement of artworks and maintained the .  Advertised the exhibition in the seminar centre of the National University of Singapore, and addressed students and staff to encourage them to attend the event. The high turnout for the exhibition was a testament to my success.  Answered questions and lead groups of guests around the space, I was able to speak extensively and sensitively.

Ciabatta House – Front of House Staff (September 2016 – June 2017)

 Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in a highly pressurized, fast paced environment.  Worked part-time hours during university study demonstrating outstanding time management skills.  Upheld the reputation of the award winning establishment, was commissioned to paint new signs and decorations showing creative flair and attention to detail.
