Containing available services, directories, names, addresses, telephone numbers, as well as website and e-mail addresses, it puts helpful ministry information at our fingertips. The Yearbook also tells a story. That story is about who we are as a fellowship. It’s about the partnerships that unite us in ministry. It’s about where we’ve grown and the departed servants of God who are no longer with us. It’s about how we are organized and where we can go for answers, assistance, and direction. The Yearbook tells the story of who we are lo- cally—and around the world. Even as the pages of this volume were rolling off the presses, churches and ministers were relocating; dates, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses were changing—we are a movement after all! For that reason, the information you will find here is a snapshot in time. The recent development and launch of www.chog24-7.org provides the most current, most complete look at the Church of God available anywhere. The mobile app version of the Yearbook provides real-time updates and overcomes many of the limitations of the printed, bound edition. CRITICAL INFORMATION about the online contents of the 2017–18 Yearbook External website links and resources are neither sponsored nor endorsed by Church of God Ministries, which assumes no responsibility for their content. Some of the website addresses found in this Yearbook may be incorrect. For various reasons, the address of a website may change at times. When such changes occur, the possibility exists that objectionable material may appear at a web address that was previously used by a church or Christian organization. We recognize the challenges that many pastors, laypeople, and constituents face with the Internet. Thus, this printed version of the Yearbook has been created. We ask that you help us keep our records updated. If you are unable to use a computer, please call our offices at 800-848-2464 and one of our team members will be glad to help you with your registration needs. Whenever something changes, we urge you to update your record as soon as possible, either by calling us or by logging on to www.chog24-7.org. Remember, you are the owner of your account information. It is beneficial to you and the larger church body that you keep your information current. 1 Important Information from the United States Treasury Department Annually, Church of God Ministries Credentialing Services compiles and submits informa- tion regarding subordinates (churches and organizations) under the General Assembly of the Church of God group exemption to comply with the Internal Revenue Service regula- tions for nonprofits. Subordinates within a state, district, or region are approved by the cre- dentialing body of that state, area, or district. The compilation of approved subordinates is sent from the state, district, or regional assembly to Church of God Ministries to be included in the group exemption of the General Assembly of the Church of God. The IRS requirement of being listed under the group exemption as a subordinate must meet the IRS qualifications of a “subordinate” as set out in Publication 4573 (Rev. 6-2007), which states in part: Subordinates must be: Affiliated with the central organization;

In contrast to typical research monographs, however, they strive to present their topics in a manner accessible also to scientifically literate non-specialists wishing to gain insight into the deeper implications and fascinating questions involved. Taken as a whole, the series reflects the need for a fundamental and interdisciplinary approach to modern science and research. Furthermore, it is intended to encourage active academics in all fields to ponder over important and perhaps controversial issues beyond their own speciality. Extending from quantum physics and relativity to entropy, conscious- ness, language and complex systems—the Frontiers Collection will inspire readers to push back the frontiers of their own knowledge. ABSTRACT Mini-SAR of Chandrayaan-1 is the very first kind of hybrid polarimetric Radar flown outside the Earth’s orbit. This sensor was employed to detect water ice deposits from the completely dark regions of the Moon. The hybrid polarimetric architecture of mini-SAR allows the measurement of the Stokes parameters of the backscattered signal. Decomposition techniques developed for this data include the ݉-δ and ݉-χ which have been used along with Circular polarization ratio (CPR) information to characterize the backscatter and look for water-ice deposits.
