Taxi: The cost for a taxi from the Airport to a downtown location (i.e. event venues or hotels) will be roughly 65-75€, the cost from the Hauptbahnhof (central station) to ​ downtown locations is roughly 15€.

Public transit: From the airport please take the S1 via Ostbahnhof or the S8 via Herrsching to ​ ​ ​ ​ reach the Hauptbahnhof at the city center. Further information on the closest U-Bahn stations to the requested hotels is given above. Please see also the attached MVV network map. For the time of the conference, we recommend that you purchase Single or Group Day Tickets. On days where you will be traveling to or from the airport you will need a ticket for the entire network (Airport-City-Day-Ticket, 13,00€ single). For all other public transit an inner city day ticket (6,70€ single) should be sufficient. You can use all options of public transportation with these tickets, including S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram and buses.
