Produced by Stuart Price, Daniel Lanois, and Brendan O’Brien and featuring guest vocals by Jenny Lewis, Flamingo is a brilliant collection from an artist whose voice and songwriting prowess have left an indelible mark on the music world. Brandon’s solo project comes in the wake of The Killers’ hiatus, a well-earned sabbatical after seven straight years of hard work. After signing with Island in 2003, they debuted with the 5 million-selling debut Hot Fuss (June 2004). It was the longest-running rock album inside the top 50 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for all of 2005, logging 94 weeks on the chart – 53 of those inside the Top 50.
