Here's what's in store: Tours of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. (Please note: Children must be 42 inches tall to climb to the top.) At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, there will be a talk pre- sented by a representative of the Center for Wildlife in York, Maine, with some local animal ambassa- dors. Learn about summer wildlife adaptations! Starting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, enjoy live music, stories, and shenanigans with Shannachie. All afternoon on both Sat- urday and Sunday, the scalawags of the New England Brethren of Pi- rates will be on hand to entertain with games, swashbuckling, and humor. They'll also have a special friend along - a mermaid. There is no charge to enter the grounds for these events. There is a suggested donation of $4 for adults and $2 for children (12 and under) to climb the lighthouse.
