FOUNDATION FOUNDATION REVIEW 2016/17 SEASON FOUNDATION FOUNDATION Formed in 2010, the Chelsea Foundation is one of the world’s leading football social responsibility programmes. Using the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire, we believe sport can be harnessed to support communities and individuals, both at home and abroad. The Foundation brings together the Football in the Community and education departments, along with the club’s wider charitable, CSR and community activities, as well as equality programmes. On top of our outstanding football development projects, the Chelsea Foundation works on a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, education, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending and much more.
