IMC was organised by Shri Sudip Paul,AD at Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur on 06-07 January, 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 63 youths participated in the campaign. 4. IMC was organised by Shri Prabhakar Prasad, AD from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Govt. ITI, Giridih on 06-07 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 68 youths participated in the campaign. 5. IMC was organised by Shri Sujit Kumar, Investigator from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Govt. ITI, Jamtara on 06-07 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 143 youths participated in the campaign. 6. IMC was organised by Shri Prabhakar Prasad, AD from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Dumri, Giridih on 08 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 59 youths participated in the campaign. 7. VC on review of various activities done by MSME-DIs was attended by Shri Gaurav, AD, Shri B. Patra, AD, Mrs. Neetu, AD and Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator under the chairmanship of Shri D. P. Srivastava, DDG, MSME, New Delhi on 09.01.2020. 8. Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) was organised by Shri Prabhakar Prasad, AD from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Govt. ITI, Giridih from 09 January 2020 to 22 January 2020. Total 25 entrepreneurs participated in the campaign. 9. IMC was organised by Shri Sudip Paul, AD at Govt. ITI, Chaibasa on 10-11 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 53 youths participated in the campaign. 10. IMC was organised by Shri Gaurav, AD from MSME-DI, Ranchi at Birsa College, Khunti on 10-11 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 65 youths participated in the campaign. 11. Dental Lab Equipment Technician (DLET) based ESDP was Inaugurated/organised by Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator from MSME-DI, Ranchi at Govt. Women ITI, Daltonganj on 11 January 2020 to 21 February 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 22 youths participated in the Programme. 12. IMC was organised by Mrs. Jyotsna Guria, AD from MSME-DI, Ranchi at Govt. ITI, Chaibasa on 10-11 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 57 youths participated in the campaign. 13. Certificate Course In House Wiring based ESDP was Inaugurated/organised by Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator from MSME-DI, Ranchi at Govt. Polytechnic, Latehar on 14 January 2020 to 24 February 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 25 youths participated in the Programme. 14. Under the chairmanship of Director (I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi Official Language Implementation Committee Meeting for third quarter ending on 31 December, 2019 was conducted on 15.01.2020 by Shri Pramod Kumar, Senior Hindi Translator. 15. The Dhanbad District Level Essay & Drawing Competition was organised by Shri Prabhakar Prasad, AD from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Jharia Raj +2 High School, Jharia, Dhanbad on 18.01.2020. Total 71 Nos. of Students participated in Essay Competition and 54 Nos. students participated in Drawing Competition. 16. Jamtara District Level Essay & Drawing Competition was organised by Shri Sujit Kumar, Investigator from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at J.B.C. +2 High School, Jamtara on 18.01.2020. Total 29 Nos. of Students participated in Essay Competition and 15 Nos. students participated in Drawing Competition. 17. Giridih District Level Essay & Drawing Competition was organised by Shri Prabhakar Prasad, AD from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at Giridih +2 High School, Giridih on 20.01.2020. Total 50 Nos. of Students participated in Essay Competition and 20 Nos. students participated in Drawing Competition. 18. IMC was organised by Shri Sudip Paul,AD at Govt. ITI, Jamshedpur on 20-21 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 51 youths participated in the Programme. 19. Deoghar District Level Essay & Drawing Competition was organised by Shri Sujit Kumar, Investigator from Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad at R. Mitra +2 High School, Deoghar on 21.01.2020. Total 24 Nos. of Students participated in Essay Competition and 23 Nos. students participated in Drawing Competition. 20. Under the chairmanship of Director (I/c) MSME-DI, Ranchi 3rd Cleanliness Drive was conducted by Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator from 20 to 21 January, 2020. During this drive many different types of swachhta related activities were conducted, like cleaning of office approach road, office premises and office building, tree plantation etc. 21. Ranchi District level Essay and Painting competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was conducted on 22.01.2020 at Zila school, Ranchi by Mrs. Neetu, AD. Total 22 nos. of students participated in Essay and 20 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 22. IMC was organised by Shri Gaurav, AD from MSME-DI, Ranchi at Ramgarh College, Ramgarh on 22-23 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 55 youths participated in the campaign. 23. Bokaro Visit by Secretary,MSME, Govt. Of India Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, IAS on 23 January, 2020 for sight inspection at Jaina More for Tool Room to be established By GOI in collaboration with Jharkhand Government with an expenditure of around 200 Crores. Director (I/C) MSME-DI, Ranchi and other officers coordinated and accompanied him during this tour. 24. Latehar District level Essay and Painting competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was conducted on 23.01.2020 at R.K. +2 High School, Latehar by Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator. Total 98 nos. of students participated in Essay and 66 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 25. Ramgarh District level Essay and Painting competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was conducted on 24.01.2020 at Gandhi Memorial +2 High School, Ramgarh by Shri Gaurav, AD. Total 56 nos. of students participated in Essay and 19 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 26. Palamu District level Essay and Painting competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was conducted on 24.01.2020 at Govt. Girls +2 High School, Medininagar, Palamu by Shri Sandeep Singh, Investigator. Total 45 nos. of students participated in Essay and 36 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 27. IMC was organized by Shri Sudip Paul, AD at Domachanch, Koderma in association with JIIDCO and Truck body Building Cluster on 24 January 2020 to aware about self- employment. Around 35 entrepreneurs and business owners participated in the Programme. 28. Republic day Celebrated at MSME-DI, Ranchi and Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad on 26th January, 2020. All office staff along with Director (I/C) participated in the celebration. The office building was illuminated with tricolor Light at the night. 29. District level Essay and Drawing Competition for West Singhbhum District was organised at Marwari +2 High School, Chakradharpur by Shri Sudip Paul, AD for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME on 27th January, 2020. Total 35 nos. of students participated in Essay and 52 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 30. Simdega District level Essay and Drawing Competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was organised at S.S. +2 High School, Simdega by Shri B. Patra, AD on 28th January, 2020. Total 86 nos. of students participated in Essay and 60 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 31. Khunti District level Essay and Drawing Competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was organised at S.S. +2 High School, Khunti by Shri Gaurav, AD on 28th January, 2020. Total 32 nos. of students participated in Essay and 23 nos. of students participated in Painting competition. 32. IMC was organised Tribal Culture Centre, Sonari, Jamshedpur on 28-29 January 2020 to aware/ educate about self- employment. Total 53 youths participated in the campaign. 33. Shri PK Gupta, Director (I/C), MSME-DI, Ranchi addressed the Buyer-Seller Meet at SVDP for SC-ST entrepreneurs on 29 January, 2020 organized by CMPDI in association with National SC-ST Hub at CMPDI, Headquarter, Ranchi. 34. Shri Gaurav, AD from MSME-DI, Ranchi addressed the Enterprise Owners and entrepreneurs in Vendor Development Programme (VDP) at BIADA Bhawan, Balidih, Bokaro on 29 January, 2020 for SC/ST and Women Entrepreneurs organized by SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant and JIADA(Bokaro). 35. In memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in India's freedom struggle all the staffs along with Director (I/C) of MSME-DI, Ranchi and Branch MSME-DI, Dhanbad observed silence for two minutes i.e. 11:00 am to 11:02 am on 30 January, 2020. 36. Shri Sudip Paul, AD attended a consultative workshop on Incubators organised by MSME HQ with the theme “Ideas for new India” on 30 January, 2020 at New Delhi. 37. East Singhbhum District level Essay and Drawing Competition for Enterprise Development and Promotion of Brand MSME was organised at B.P.M. +2 High School, Burmamines, Jamshedpur by Smt. Jyotsana Guria, AD on 31 January, 2020. Total 45 nos. of students participated in Essay and 19 nos. of students participated in Painting competition.

  • Department of AIDS Control in 25 States (539 Districts)
    The National AIDS Control Programme has a strong focus on district level planning, implementation and monitoring of interventions for prevention and control of HIV. The Programme is generating a rich evidence base on HIV/AIDS through a robust and expanded HIV Sentinel Surveillance system, monthly reporting from programme units, mapping and size estimations, behavioural surveys as well as several studies, research projects and evaluations. In this context of increased availability of data and the requirement of decentralized planning at the district level, a project titled “Epidemiological Profiling of HIV/AIDS Situation at District and Sub-district Level using Data Triangulation” was undertaken by the Department of AIDS Control in 25 states (539 districts). The objective of this exercise was to develop district HIV/ AIDS epidemic profiles, by consolidating all the available information for a district at one place and drawing meaningful inferences using Data Triangulation approaches. This technical document is an outcome of the data triangulation process and consists of a snapshot on the district background, and on the HIV epidemic profile of each district based on the available updated information, thereby giving an overview of the HIV epidemic scenario in each of the districts of the State. This document would be useful for the HIV programme managers and policy makers at all levels to help in decision making, as well as for researchers and academicians as a quick reference guide to the HIV/AIDS situation in the districts. Under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), a flagship programme of government of India to achieve the goal of clean India by 2nd October 2019, a fitting tribute to 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the pioneer of sanitation movement in India, communities of Simdega district vowed to achieve freedom from Open Defecation some three years ago.

    1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 Overview A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) under Crisis Management Plan is a set of preplanned laid down instructions that document routine or schedule of activities followed by any organization so that an untoward incident can be effectively prevented and in the case of any emergency or crisis situation it will help individual actors and the team to react the best possible manner with emergent crisis situation. The development and use of SOPs are an integral part of a successful management of any crisis situation/ system management as it provides each and every individuals/actors in the team with the information to perform a job properly, systematically and facilitates consistency and speedy management of the situation, rehabilitation etc. It’s a guide to achieve the end result through effective and optimum utilization man, material and other resources. SOPs describe both technical and fundamental programmatic operational procedures/activities to be carried out by the organization that would be managed under a work plan. This SOP is prepared keeping the background information at the district -its past, present and the available human and material resources within the district. It also is prepared in coordinates with the opportunities, challenges and limitation of the District. The district being extremist affected and considering it as the most important problem the SOP is mainly focused on combating Naxal-Leftwing extremism/ terrorism along with other issues like law and order, criminal activities etc. 1.2 Purpose To give a detailed outline upon the various activities/work schedule to be conducted or followed within the organization in routine as well as in case of emergency.

INTRODUCTION Simdega District is situated in the south western part of the state of Jharkhand. It borders with Orissa and Chhattisgarh states. It comprises of the area, which was erstwhile the Simdega Subdivision of the Gumla District and was created on 30th April 2001. The district is situated between 22 degree and 20 minutes to 22 degree and 51 minutes north latitude and 84 degree and 01 minutes to 85 degree and 05 minutes east longitude. It consists of ten blocks/Circles namely Simdega, Kurdeg, Bolba, Thethaitangar, Kolebira, Bano, Jaldega, Pakartanr, Bansjore and Kersai. The responsibility of General Administration of Simdega District lies with the Deputy Commissioner. He is the Executive Head and carries out the role of Deputy Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate. The Additional Collector, MESO Project Officer, Executive Magistrates, Treasury Officer, District Panchayati Raj Officers and many others assist the Deputy Commissioner in carrying out day-to-day work in various fields. The Deputy Commissioner is the Chief Revenue Officer as District Collector and is responsible for collection of Revenue and other Government dues recoverable as arrears of Land Revenue. The District Rural Development Agency has also been created for the implementation of Integrated Rural Development Programme. It has been the principal organ at the District level to oversee the implementation of the anti-poverty programmes of the Ministry of Rural Development. Under the Zila Parishad there are 10 Blocks and 94 Panchayats.
