PATTERNS ∙ JANUARY 2019 1 In 2022, we’ll celebrate 100 years of public media in central Illinois. We have you to thank for that legacy—gifts from Friends have kept this service strong since the first on-air fund drive in 1974. Almost 30 years ago, we began asking Friends to invest in WILL with annual gifts of $1,000 or more. This group, originally called Vision 2022—later, Vision Circle—has been a guiding force with their annual gifts. This month, we salute them all, and thank them for their terrific support, especially in this 45th anniversary year of the Friends of WILL.
