Debbie Hilton’s submission “A Christmas Wish” was chosen by the theme committee. Of the several hundred submissions, Hilton turned in over 100 possibilities. @lacledenews “Debbie will be given a $100 check and the option to ride in the Christ- mas Parade,” said Darrell Pollock, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. The parade will take place November 23 at 11 a.m. and will follow the tra- ditional route with the check in process happening in the HEP Supply Co. and D & A Paint and Accessories parking lots. Stan Moore, retired circuit judge, was selected to be the grand parade marshal. Moore has lived in the area since 1983 and had his own law practice, worked in WKHSURVHFXWLQJDWWRUQH\·VRFHDQGEHHQDMXGJHLQWKHFLUFXLWFRXUWIRUDOPRVW years. His volunteer service includes working with the Red Cross, OEM weather spotters, the Chamber board of directors and the Optimist Club. @LacledeCountyRecord “His civic service to the community has been fantastic.
