I research on the edible landscape planning and design, its criteria, possibilities, and traditional roots for the particular situation of Iranian cities and landscapes. The primary objective is preparing a conceptual and practical framework for Iranian professions to integrate the food landscaping into the new greenery and open spaces developments. Furthermore, finding the possibilities of synthesis the traditional utilitarian gardening with the contemporary pioneer viewpoints of agricultural landscapes is the other significant proposed achievement. Finished tasks and list of achieved results: • Recognition the software and hardware principles of designing the agricultural landscape based on the Persian gardens • Multidimensional identity of agricultural landscape in Persian gardens • Principles of architectural integration and the characteristics of the integrative landscape in Persian gardens • Distinctive characteristics of agricultural landscape in Persian garden • Introducing the Persian and historical gardens as the starting point for reentering the agricultural phenomena into the Iranian cities and landscape • Assessment the structure of Persian gardens based on the new achievements and criteria of designing the urban agriculture • Investigate the role of Persian gardens in envisioning the urban agriculture in Iranian cities’ landscape. Insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables is the probable reason for micronutrient deficiencies and malnutrition in developing countries. With urbanization, globalization and a growing world population, it becomes imperative and of utmost importance to secure sufficient food supply for the world’s population. Many cities are expected to boom in the near future or are already entrenched with nearly insurmountable problems such as employment for often fairly uneducated migrants from rural areas, proper disposal of an abundance of refuse from households, commerce and industry by making available safe and sufficient supply of cheap but nutritious food rich in vitamins and minerals to feed ever increasing the population of these expanding urban centers.

    Factsheet; Organic Farming and Value chain (Farm-to Fork) in Iran High value organic products The future for organic agriculture in Iran looks very positive. Currently there are 43,000 ha of certified organic agricultural land. A high growth rate experienced over the last few years suggests a fast and considerable development in this sector. Due to different climatic conditions across the country, Iran could produce a variety of crops and become a regional hub and global resource to produce high-value organic produce, such as for pistachio, pomegranate, saffron, date, fig and medicinal plants. Cultural studies have shown that Iranians have been always interested in consuming traditional products grown in villages across the country. Box: (144211) Amman (11814) Jordan Abstract Remarkable development was recorded by Seville under the spell of Islamic rule, first under the Umayyad dynasty, then under the Almoravids and thereafter under the Almohad rulers. The Umayyad rulers transformed the city from the Roman-Gothic vestiges into a thriving city pulsating with economic, commercial and cultural activities. Special attention was paid by the Umayyad rulers maintain defence of the city and ensure all-round progress its people. Under the Almoravid rule, Seville seldom witnessed any noticeable development activity. However, the Almohad rulers revived the development dynamics by constructing buildings, improving public infrastructure and facilities for the people. Iran produces the 30th food quantity of the world and the 8thmulti food production. In the present there are 3.4 million Iranian agriculturists that they use the original organic plant. However a small agriculture does not use the organic farming method; proportion is 80 %. According to the survey of 40 year ago, Since 1981 to 2001, the quantity of agricultural products has been used agricultural chemicals substance about 28,038 tons per year.     SUSAN BELL Extension Educator, Horticulture Susan is a leader in consumer and commercial horticultural education in the University of Idaho’s Southern Extension District. She provides practical educational programming for Ada County (Boise) and surrounding counties. Susan collaborates with Extension faculty in southern Idaho and eastern Oregon, along with state and county agencies, city departments, and private businesses and civic groups to deliver workshops, seminars, symposiums, and garden schools. She directs the Master Gardener, Advanced Master Gardener, Continuing Master Gardener and Master Composter Volunteer Training Programs, and trains and supervises 100 volunteers annually.
