The purpose of Association Trans Musicales (ATM) is to promote music of today and participate in its recognition as an art and cultural experience. ATM runs the Trans Musicales and club Ubu. Each year in december, Bars en Trans highlights the french rock, hip hop, pop and electro scene. In the town center of Rennes, bars and clubs become for 3 days the venues of a festival which gathers almost 112 bands, most of them for their first appearance in a festival. The projects are legion, the passion is still there, and after 22 years the festival Bars en Trans has dug its little furrow. Exemplary in terms of activism and independence, it can boast of being a reference in France, and often elsewhere, regarding the discovery of emerging artists. Organized by le Quartz - Scène nationale de Brest and Bretagne(s) World Sounds, NoBorder festival offers a large range of events, from a Fest-Deiz (a Breton local dance) to experimental concerts. Taking place in Brest, NoBorder opens a window into the artistic creation from all over the world, mixing up traditional and contemporary musical approaches. 4 GL∆Z Music : what is at stake ? Glaz Music gathers 20 professional companies based in Brittany, which engage collectively in the international development of local artists and music bands.
