A: No, it is okay to pick and choose the activities in which you wish to participate. Q: How do I participate in the events I have registered for? A: Printed event tickets will be used for most activities; they will be in your meet registration packet. Wristbands will be used for Thursday and Friday’s driving tours. Q: Do I have to register to participate in Saturday’s car show with my Lincoln? A: Yes, you must register yourself and any Lincolns you plan to show or have judged. Q: Do I need to have a fire extinguisher with my Lincoln on the show field? A: Yes, a fire extinguisher is required and must be placed by the front left tire when on show field. Q: Do I have to register if I only want to walk in and view the cars on Saturday? A: No, registration is not necessary if you only plan to walk in and view the cars. Q: Can I park my trailer at the hotel? A: No, although the hotel has a large parking area, there is no room for trailers. Please find information on where to park trailers in the registration area when you check in. Q: Can I wash my car at the hotel? A: Yes, a hose and bucket will be available at the host hotel for car washing. Please bring your own supplies. Q: What is my LCOC membership number and expiration date? A: Your LCOC membership number and expiration date is above your name on the address information on the back page of Continental Comments magazine. Q: Can I register online? A: Yes, you can register online by following these steps: 1.) Complete the registration form by clicking in the cells next to each required field and typing your entries. Do not “sign” the form until it is complete and checked for errors – Once signed it cannot be edited! 2.) After you have signed the form, save the file on your computer using “Save As” and include your name in the file name 3.) Review the saved file to ensure all data has transferred correctly 4.) Attach the file to an e-mail and send it to Jeanne Talbourdet at [email protected]. 5.) Other Lincolns on display were William Clay Ford’s 1956 Continental Mark II convertible, several classic Lincolns from the twenties and thirties, and a 1956 Continental Mark II originally owned by Elizabeth Taylor. Originally the Western Region planned to have a special class as they did in 1995 but that plan was cancelled due to lack of participation. We are not sure how many, if any, Western Region members attended without cars. One Western Region mem- ber, Jim Ayres, did attend and took these photos. More of his photos appear on Lincoln Honored at Pebble Beach 2013 page 4. For the first time since its 75th Anniversary in 1995 Lincoln was one of the honored marques at the 63rd edition Left, of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance “Bubbltop,” the third weekend of August. Remember me, Joe S. Board of Managers 2019 Columbe? You have not heard much from me this year but nothing much has been going on either. We canceled most Director events due to this year’s turmoil. The February dinner meeting Joe S. Columbe had a fair number in attendance at Bynum’s Steakhouse. The summer picnic was a great success. With the five car clubs that were invited, we had 23 Hoosier Region members in attendance, Treasurer with a total of 73 enjoying the event. The “bring your own pic- Paul Temple nic” or order a box lunch was accepted by all. We had 45 or- ders for box lunches and many told us that they were thoroughly Secretary enjoyed. Darren Klingler Our next event will be on Saturday, October 3, in Seymour with lunch provided by our host and member John Rust. There will be theatre organ concerts along with a car show. This is a Bill Baird first-time event for our club.
