USING DIFFERENT-SIZED WHEELS OR TIRES Adding wheels or tires that are a different size than your original equipment wheels and tires may affect the performance and/or electronic systems of your vehicle including its braking, ride and handling characteristics, stability, resistance to rollover, fuel economy and tire traction (on wet, dry, snowy or icy roads). Changes in vehicle performance are not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. It is strongly recommended that your replacement tires be the same as your vehicle’s original equipment tires to ensure proper levels of performance and safety during normal use. Lincoln vehicles were developed and matched with specific wheels and tires. If you choose different replacement tires, make sure they are comparable in size, load range, speed rating and construction type (radial- and bias-belted tires) as your vehicle’s original equipment tires. Larger-sized wheels or tires may require a new spare tire and additional components. Also, tire chains cannot be used due to lack of clearance to the wheelhouse. Trucks equipped with accessory wheels may not be compatible for use with snowplow equipment. For approved wheels and other important information, see your dealer for details.
