MARIO MATTEO BUSSO Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors [born in Turin, 1 March 1951] Graduated in Economics, he is a chartered accountant and registered in the register of statutory auditors. Since May 18, 2020 he is Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of TERNA S.p.A. He holds positions as director and independent auditor in listed companies and in companies of public interest. He held, inter alia, the following offices: Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of TERNA, AVIO, Consorzio ENI per l’Alta Velocità (CEPAV 1 e CEPAV2), International Energy Services; Chairman of the Board of Auditors of Compagnia di SAN PAOLO; Statutory Auditor of LIFTT S.r.l. and WAY S.p.A.; Legal Auditor of QUASAR S.p.A. He was Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of SAIPEM, Ersel and Chairman of Legal Auditor of the IOR and Independent Administrator of Fiat, FCA Bank. He was a partner at Andersen Worldwide (1988-2003) and at Deloitte & Touche S.p.A. (2003-2011). R.T., Imiweb Sim). He has drafted fairness opinions for listed companies (including Schroeder, SAI-Fondiaria, San Paolo-IMI, Italgas) as part of merger and spin-off transactions, followed by credit securitization transactions for banks and consumer credit companies (including Firs Italian Auto Transaction, Nixes, Golden Bar). He participated in study groups concerning the IAS-IFRS accounting standards. He collaborates as an external speaker with the University of Turin..
