The well prepared trail on the attractive Oslo Fjord coastline will take you along cycling paths and tranquil country lanes. Accommodation will be provided in sophisticated, centrally located hotels, and your luggage will be transported as you enjoy picturesque views, refreshing swims and historical sites along your trip by bicycle. We guide you through beautiful towns and villages such as Åsgårdstrand, Son, , Drøbak, 's oldest settlement Tønsberg, the charming town landscape of Sandefjord and the fortified old town in . Possibilities to shorten or extend some of the stages.

Level of difficulty: 2 out of 3, Total length: about 215 km This tour has been rated category 2 because of some uphill and a relatively curvy landscape on some stretches. Day 6 (Moss/Son-Drøbak)is the most challenging, you will also encounter some uphill on day 2 (Drammen-Horten), otherwise the tour is relatively flat and easy. You will bike on a combination of separate bicycle paths parallel to roads and some country (normally) low traffic roads, mostly with asphalt, only a few km on gravel roads. On some stages, taking the train will allow you to

reach the next hotel without biking, for details see the road description and the map. You will need a ticket for your bike; this can only be purchased on board the train.

Direct train from Oslo airport Gardermoen (OSL) to Arrival in Drammen Drammen is located 50 km west Drammen, about 1h. of Oslo. It is easy to reach by train (1 hour) from Oslo. Arrival at hotel and settle in.

Day 2

Drammen – Horten (54 km) The day will start with a slightly uphill route, through agricultural fields heading for Sande. After Sande, you will catch up with the fjord again, arriving in Holmestrand in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon cycling country roads to Horten. This town used to be a navy base and you may visit its fortified naval museum, called Karljohansvern. Your hotel is close to the harbour.
